Mecheda - Train station in Raksa Chak - Medinipur East, India

An important station connected with a central bus stand just outside the station premises. You can get local bus services from there & if you wish to get superfast bus then you have to go for Flyover just 5 minutes walkable distance from the station. There is No wheel chair accessible facilities to get into the station.

Important railway station in the midnapur district. Well connected by roads. Transportation facilities are well developed. Station well maintained. Many stalls present. Food quality is not so good. Overall a good station and 4 stars is just great to describe the place accurately.

I came here for job purpose. 5 platform is here. All local train stopped here. From the station you can see a view of kolaghat thermal plant. Station surroundings are pretty clean. A small forest is here in the station

This station is good and popular in around 30/40 kilometre near by area.People are very helpful and station is clean suitable for people but here isn't facility for disabled person. I can't see it. My train is running in schedule time. This station is Good for me

Well maintained station with connected to the mecheda central bus stand , but to take (down) howrah train you have to walk a good distance to go to 1 no platform

In Howrah Kharagpur line an important and useful station in East Midnapore..serving thousands of people..there are foot bridge, shed and seating arrangements. But some time trains are infrequent leading to gathering of passangers, cleanliness need to be addressed more.just outside the station premises there bus stand with good communications

Everything is fine but the foot overbridge is too high. Lift or escalator is needed.

Located near mecheda bus stand . 2 min distance while walking. Lots of train and cab , bus facilities there. Mecheda to haldia 1200Rs per cab. Mecheda railway station in the Indian state of West Bengal, serves Mecheda, India in Purba Medinipur district. It is on the Howrah-Kharagpur line.
