McNest - Home Stay in Siliguri - Darjeeling, India

Management needs to be efficient. A lot can be improved.

This is by far the coolest room i have stayed in. Everything one can think of and even somethings that we don't generally think off, was there. The hosts are very welcoming and take pride in the effort they put in to offer a beautiful room. The room is very compact, so great for two if travelling light.

One of the best and coziest places I have stayed in. Victor and Melita were incredible hosts and prepared delicious food. They went really out of their way to help and be accommodating. The room itself was clean and well stocked. The location was safe and close to the city center mall. Would definitely recommend!

Really compact room with all the amenities. You certainly don't feel the lack of physical space. The hosts, Melita and Victor are amazing warm hosts. They treat you like their own guests. It's perfectly located at the city centre. Aunty and uncle make sure you have everything. Pretty close to the Bagdogra airport as well and they'll even drop you if required. Go for the stories they have to share from all their travel stories.

Loads of things to say about this place. Brilliant location, ongoing solace, super clean and amazingly comfortable... Or let's just say cozy like your own house. You have wifi, satellite TV... Which you would not need as you would read more than watching TV, all amenities possible and above all, beautiful people to host you, the Norbula's. Great home cooked food or other options to choose from. This has been one of my best homestay experiences. I think, the warmth of the people always does the trick. At this tariff, you are getting an awesome home rather than a really bad hotel room and what more do you ask for. I was here for a night and ended up staying two nights. Could have stayed another if there was availability, but a really pleasant three day stay.

A small but very cosy room with twin beds. An extremely personal touch. There are books to read, tourist information, a stocked ref and snacks, complete with a price list. The owners, the Norbulas are a very warm and friendly couple and make you feel at home instantly. The best homestay I have lived at.

Its a real homestay where the owners are very pure at their hearts and have a true sense of hospitality. We stayed here for three days. Best homemade food ( aloo parantha and chinese food ) we enjoyed at this place. You can book thru airbnb and by phone also , the owner have two type of accommodation, one is small room with two single bed ( recommended for solo travellers) another one has queen size bed. The best things is its inside gated society and very near to the city centre shopping mall .

I have been meaning to write this review for quite sometime for I couldn't be more grateful to the host of this place... I checked into this hotel not for leisure of business but because my 7 day old son was unwell and had to be admitted at the NICU @ Neotia hospital...The room was excellent and well kept but what really stood out for me was the willingness of the host to drop me to the hospital anytime of the night incase of an emergency....When my son was to be discharged the owner actually insisted in dropping me till the hospital and refused to take payment for the same.... This act of kindness was truly appreciated! Thankyou for running this beautiful place and for being the best host ever.
