Mayura Restaurant - Restaurant in Jog Falls - Shivamogga, India

Well please don't visit with high hopes, this was the only functional restaurant when we visited. Nothing special about it. No one will recommend you any dish to try from the Menu. Food quality Is good though.

I took soft drinks and having seat to drink...but the person in the restaurant reception not allowed me to sit there for 5 minutes because, I buy drinks only. As per hospitality laws, the use and avail benefits and services and products offer by the restaurant. it is including sitting area. We feel completely embarrassing and shame to visit this hotel.

KSTDC IS CONSTRUCTING NEW BUILDINGs. AVOID stay at all cost for next 2 - 3 Years. This building is demolished and the restaurant is present in a small space in Mayura lodge. The space is sufficient for their staff. They don't serve meals like before for lunch and dinner.

Horrible, please don't go. Eating by the roadside shops would be better. It's costly and only few options like biryani, curd rice. Taste also is average and service is bad. Because it is the only restaurant very close to the viewpoint people go. Apart from this not worth it .

Complete monopoly of the location. Slow service. Less number of waiters to manage restaurant . Less quantity. Please give this space to some one better.. people deserve better.

Very reasonable Restaurant with great quality non-veg Food. There were a few customers and service was pretty fast.

Its a wonderful restaurant and one of its kind in Jog Falls. Breakfast gets over before sunrise, Puliogere that they offer was beaten to death. You need litre of water to swallow the delicious Puliogere which costs 60/- at the time I am writing this review. They make sure the food is delivered in max 60mins and charge you 60/-. Welcome to Hotel Mayura, Jog Falls !!

This is the only restaurant in and around the Jog Falls view point campus. All others are small food stalls and shops. This restaurant serves the Jog Falls visitors and also the people who stays at the Mayura hotel which is there at the campus. This restaurant becomes overcrowded during peak season and during the weekends. If you go in summer or non-season time the restaurant will be generally empty or less crowded. Food menu consists of veg and non-veg items but is very limited. 4-5 veg dishes and 4-5 nonveg dishes. Food price is not very high . You have to go to the restaurant early during Lunch, dinner and breakfast start time , because if you are late then you will be left with very less food choices . The food we ordered were very tasty .The restaurant is very clean , and the staff is very courteous. Overall , Its the only decent restaurant in the Jog Falls view point campus , with tasty but limited veg and non-veg dishes. It is clean compared to the road side restaurants you will find there.
