Mayur Pahar View Point is accessible by a short hike from the base of the hill. The hike is relatively easy, and the path is well-maintained. The top of the hill is marked by a watchtower, which provides a 360-degree view of the surrounding area. It is a great place to enjoy the beauty of the Ajodhya Hills. It is also a popular spot for picnics and bird watching.
The place is basic. But the view from the watch tower is just spectacular. If you are not planning to ride the watch tower, then you shouldn't come here. But the view from that tower is too good to skip and worth all the tiny hike. Recommended.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting a picturesque hilltop retreat, and I must say, it was an enchanting experience. Perched atop the rolling hills, this hidden gem offered breathtaking panoramic views and a serene atmosphere that made it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The viewpoint is located on top of a small hill. It is easily accessible and there are stairs that lead up. A spiral staircase gets us to the top of the tower. The breeze is awesome and gusty. The views all around are great. Mid day can create a haze but even so I loved the place. Nothing much to do. A temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman sits on top of the hill. Down at the foothill sugarcane juice and coconut vendors do a decent business. There are toilets there but found them locked. Nice place overall.
It's a nice place to connect with nature . It's a very peaceful area to watch and connect with Mother Nature and get yourself rejuvenated
Not very far from Kolkata, is Ayodhya Hills in Purulia district of Kolkata fast gaining popularity as a weekend tourist destination. Standing at an altitude of 610 meters, the beautiful Ayodhya Hills is a part of Dalma hills in Jharkhand and extended part of the Eastern Ghats. The natural beauty of the hills lies in its lush green forests, roaring waterfalls and different species of flora and fauna found here. Visitors come here to enjoy a weekend of tranquility and serenity in the lap of nature. elephants form adjoining jungles also migrate to these forests seasonally. Spending a day just loitering in the forests amongst the mahua trees can be a good experience. You can even wander to the small tribal villages spread over the area. Tribals in this area are known for their hospitality. They invite visitors to their house and offer a cup of tea. Tribal villages are fascinating. They are small picturesque mud huts cuddled together in an area. The mud hut walls are decorated with simple yet beautiful paintings.
View point situated at the Ajodhya hilltop. Free entry for all. A very easy trek.
This is the best view point of Ajodhya hill, Purulia. And also the best sunset point of Purulia. Once upon a time, so many peacocks were roaming
A must visit place if you've ever been to the Ajodhya Pahar. There is nothing of much importance here but the beauty of the place is so mesmerizing that you will be spellbound. It is a great place for taking good pictures and you can also come here

The Hotel is at Ajodhya hill top, surrounded. Surrounded by woods all around, it has a great scenic beauty. Most importantly, it has a big parking lot and shops nearby. Rooms are spacious, have decent washrooms and staffs are friendly.
Newly built cottages are really awesome. Properly cleaned rooms. Room service and restaurant services are a little sluggish. This property is currently in development of phase and expecting to improve those areas. Also a good part is that they are tr
