Mayas is great. The hospitality, the rooms ,food and ambience is just fabulous. At a reasonable price anyone could afford to stay. Just waiting for another stay there in the next vacation.
Stay with mayas have been a very nice experience. Good quality food with swimming pool, terrace and well behaved staffs. Suit ambience and interiors is also something to talk about. I would recommend Mayas very highly. Please visit the place. Its a perfect destination for family and friends.
They had me at the warm welcome. The staff are mostly local...sweet, simple & so accommodating.
The food is great. It's helpful to place your order in advance as it takes time to prepare. But this is only because it's so fresh.
The rooms are nice and provide for all the basic amenities. Some have jacuzzis and are great for families. They're all done differently which gives each a very unique feel.
They have a decent pool and a lovely terrace which i used both in the morning for my workout and In the evening, to gaze at the stars.
You need your own transport to get to the city which is about 15 minutes away.
It's not 5 star but is very comfortable and tasteful.
Absolutely exceptional! My stay at this resort was a true escape to paradise. From the luxurious accommodations to the impeccable service and stunning surroundings, every moment felt like a dream. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly memorable and rejuvenating getaway.
Very nice room service because of a guy named Piyush. I have never seen a person working in house keeping with do much of dedication.
Room quality is good, keeping Alexa in room was a excellent idea.
Food needs lot of improvement, ingredients are very good, prepration is very bad. Please check with the cook.
Room bed though clean but not bug free. Please do maintenance regularly.
Overall very good stay.
Cutting one star for food.
I have had the pleasure of staying at Mayas Shantiniketan Resort not just once, but twice, and each time has been a delightful experience. The resort's location, though slightly tucked away, offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a peaceful getaway. If you have your own vehicle, reaching the resort is hassle-free, but the limited parking space is the only drawback I encountered during my visits, which prompted the deduction of one star.
The ambiance of Mayas Shantiniketan Resort is truly remarkable. The moment you step into the resort, you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a relaxing stay. The boutique hotel concept ensures that each room has its unique charm, providing guests with a refreshing change from cookie-cutter accommodations.
During my first visit, I stayed in the super deluxe suite room, known as the Antique Room. While the bed was slightly squeaky, the overall experience was fantastic. The room boasted a beautiful view from the balcony, allowing me to immerse myself in the natural surroundings. The spaciousness of the room, coupled with a clean and well-appointed bathroom, made my stay all the more comfortable. The rustic charm of the wooden furniture and the beautiful wardrobe added to the overall appeal.
On my second visit, I opted for the deluxe room on the top floor. The highlight of this room was the direct access to the terrace, which provided a delightful spot to enjoy breakfast with my partner, basking in the warm morning sun. The room itself was tastefully decorated, and the amenities provided were more than satisfactory.
One aspect that I particularly enjoyed during both stays was the food package offered by the resort. The meals provided were delicious, with generous portions. I appreciated the flexibility to customize my meals to suit my preferences. The resort's culinary offerings were definitely a highlight of my experience.
Mayas Shantiniketan Resort boasts a great pool that offered a refreshing respite during my December visit. My friends and I had the pleasure of enjoying a BBQ session poolside while taking a dip in the chilly water. The combination of good company, delicious food, and a picturesque setting made it an unforgettable experience.
The staff at the resort provided excellent room service and displayed genuine warmth and hospitality. Their attentiveness added to the overall appeal of the resort and made me want to return time and again.
In conclusion, Mayas Shantiniketan Resort is a haven for those seeking a quiet and peaceful retreat. While the parking facility falls short in terms of space, the ambiance, well-appointed rooms, delicious food, and excellent service more than make up for it. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable and rejuvenating experience amidst nature's beauty.
The best in Bolpur who loves peace and nice luxury vibes in affordable ranges....... They are best to feel yourself special. Staff behaviour is so humble and Food is the best. Who loves spicy stuff must try their Chicken Kosha .... It's best after some beer booze .
Pros : Location.
Cons :
1) The hotel does not serve tea (only dip tea is available)
2) Liquor is allowed in open space and in Pool, which makes family quite uncomfortable.
3) Though breakfast is said to be complimentary but it is not. There is not buffet and you are made to choose from 3-4 items and any other items on the breakfast menu is charged. Further the items chosen as complimentary is not free for one unit only, for example if you consume 2 cups of coffee, you will have to pay for one.
Overall not recommended for family !
