A pice-hotel like set-up, established for quite sometime, and food are tasty. Like any other pice hotel, every item is charged separately (i.e. a-la carte). Items are limited and usually remains the same throughout the day and night.

Taste like home cooked food. Every item is individually charged, you will be charged extra if you repeat some dish. Price: Good. Taste: Great Recommended dish: Mutton Curry. Interiors: okeish. Overall experience: Good.

Good for a single night stay. Much better if not alone. Fee: 1)Single bed-Rs250 2)Triple bed-Rs450 or 500 3) Double bed-Rs350 or 400 Experience: 1)Food available inside hotel: (a)Rice with:[Extra Rice:Rs5/bowl] A.Dal:Rs30 B.Dal and Sabji:Rs60 C.Nola Mach(Fish with Dal and Sabji):Rs120. (b)Fast foods available;egg roll, biriyani etc. (c)Restaurant open till 10:00pm for guests. 2)Rooms: (a)Tidyness:better than Other same category hotels. (b)Bathrooms:Unattached with not so clean interior and exterior.Here is a pic below. (c)Bed and clothing: Untidy and unclean just as any other hotel in Silchar. (d)Dimensions:6ftx15ft. (e)Furnitures: A.Bed. B.A chair. C.A table. I have provided detailed pictures of the mentioned Furnitures. 3)Staffs:lively and helpful but the manager mat charge extra depending on your behaviour.Look lively and never hesitate.

Food was good but atmosphere is very outdated .

Horrible!! The interior isn't great, the food was cold and service was very slow. They served us rice first and brought the other items after around 5 minutes!!! The prices are damnnn high and every items are charged separately. One piece hilsa fish costs more than 300,and mind it, price of only the fish is 300 you have to pay for rice separately, dal, sabji separately. There was no meat items when we visited and in veg items they only have dal and mixed veg, nothing else. No salad, no chutney, no achaar absolutely nothing Although the hotel is about 80 years, there's absolutely nothing special about this hotel. Not recommended at all!!

Be careful! Be careful! The fooding system of this hotel will loot you surprisingly. Here each and every food item is highly priced. Like for a meal fish rice Rice 1 small bowl 30 rupees Next time again 30 rupees One very small bowl daal 30 rupees Next time again 30 rupees Rotten fish curry 120 or higher Salt, lemon everything is charged separately. While paying bill it will hurt you abundantly like it happened to me . I ordered a fish rice meal. Generally, in this location which will cost around maximum 120 in any average hotel but here in this hotel it cost me 230. And that rotten fish curry!!! So be careful while falling for food trap in this hotel!! And lodging charge also on the higher side. However, the opposite *Bani hotel* is quite good for lodging and the owner cum manager is quite helpful. So choose wisely while you stay!

It's just an old name... But really a trap .. merely 50 gams of veg is cost as 50 rupee .. After you eat you will be shocked seeing the price.... My advice you it's extremely high price.. you can get this taste at lower price.. Choice is yours ..

Had Mutton Curry worth Rs. 200 with rice but the mutton was not properly cooked and was very tight and inedible. Horrible experience from a renowned hotel. Disappointed.
