What a serene place. We were on our way to mawphunlur but we took a wrong turn and ended up here. The roads are well built. Less crowd.

One of the most scenic tourist places in Meghalaya, Mawthadraishan peak is located on the northern side of the main road that connects Nongstoin and Shillong. The fish ponds located at the top add to the picturesqueness of this place. The peak is famed among tourists for the panoramic views it offers.
It's was a very fresh Morning and we can see full of cloud in the morning time .and it's a place that has many lake . The beautiful of this place is had no words to describe anymore.

Awesome Palce during summer months
Awesome place but road conditions is not good. My bike chain snapped and I had to come downhill till the main road to repair my chain. Luckily there was a mechanic nearby. After repairing, we completed the trip but not after loosening nuts and bolts of my bike(literally).
