Maverick & Farmer Coffee - Coffee shop in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

This is one of my favourite cafes in Bangalore. The place is always buzzing with people and you get a great view of the stadium as well. The food and coffee served by Maverick & Farmer has always been great. The most recent dish that I tried was Turkish poached eggs, which was simply amazing! Highly recommended.

This place offers a slightly different feel compared to your usual brunch cafes around town. Its located next to a sports academy and the area itself is pretty hard to reach because of one very problematic road. We tried multiple meals here, the chicken steak was cooked to perfection, my smoky coffee was brewed well although I didn't really get the smoky flavour. I recommend the Turkish eggs and the chicken steak and tiramisu dessert. Their service is very slow though, that's a disappointment. I see that they also have a gaming cafe tucked in the area, neat spot for gamers.

Having seen the pretty pictures I was tempted to visit this cafe primarily for the coffee and the location. But we were surprised to find such great food too. We didn't plan to order so many things but because the first few dishes turned exquisite we went on to eat so much! The veg burger was the best I have had in some time. The pizza was just right, so was the teriyaki tofu bowl. Loved the presentation of the food with generous dips and sides. The tomato dip with the burger, now I want the recipe for that! Also, the churros were so crispy they disappeared in no time from our table! Coming to the coffees, I mostly wanted to try the specialty ones, so they were very impressive, from the cafe citron to the Japanese cola coffee. I will certainly want to revisit here to try more of their coffees and every coffee we saw being served looked stunning and from some Masterchef episode. Good service, great location and food and beverage menu make this one of my favorite cafe visits in Bangalore.

Overall love this place for its wonderful ambience overlooking the football ground and coffee. If you're a coffee lover, it's worth a visit. Food was uninspiring, the breakfast (country skillet and tex mex skillet) didn't come with any kind of bread. The potato was very dehydrated. The texmex skillet had all the right ingredients, jalapenos, refried beans, sweet potatoes but they were not able to capture the taste and flavor of Mexican food. I'll probably try something else next time.

Loved this place coz there aren't many in this location that offer a niche open air view with good coffee varieties and options for food. Earlier I used to always go to the cafe at Cinnamon. The outside space is really nice and the staff is courteous. They follow self ordering process which is smooth. The coffee was good and so was the food we ordered. For such a place I would always give 5 stars however, the service was so bad that I just couldn't bring myself to give 5 rating. We placed food order first and waited. It Tom a fairly long time (around 20-30) for three items to reach our table with 1 pending. We further placed a second order for coffee n desserts and waited fairly long for coffee. However the 1 pending item from our first order did not arrive despite repeated follow up requests from me. Ultimately I asked them to cancel the order and refund me. Thankfully they did not argue and promptly did. I would go here again for the coffee n food but if the service is bad again I shall further edit the review.

Each sip is a journey of flavors that I can't get enough of. But it's not just the coffee; every food item I've tried here has left me thoroughly impressed. From appetizers to desserts, each dish is a culinary masterpiece. The flavors are well-balanced, and the presentation is equally impressive. I can confidently say that this place has become my go-to spot for a memorable dining experience. Whether it's a casual meal or a special occasion, the consistently high-quality food and the charming ambiance make it a top choice. My taste buds have been treated to a symphony of flavors, and I look forward to returning for more delightful culinary adventures.

Lovely cafe amidst a football club / training field. Good coffees, beverages and food. Loved the sandwiches here! Definitely coming back.
