Not bad. Selected fee items are good like undhiyo, malpoa, aloo n chhas. Rest are average or below average. Had high expectations from simple dish like khichdi but not worth it. Service was slow.

Atmosphere is just another level u can just keep seating for hours. Food is delicious, must try their thali. Service is extra ordinary, just found that salad served to me was somewhat dried but overall I enjoyed this restaurant.

We were 10 of us for Lunch ,ambience was good .Chaas,ghugra & chapati were good Moong dal sheera & basundi extra sweet Dal bati choorma not up to mark.Khichdi was cold and it seems stale with lumps in it.Vegetables too spicy & oily.I had to tell them again and again to get farsan and sweets.Which they got once in the start & once in end.Salad,chutney person didn't turn up after coming initially. Total paid Rs 534/ per pax & Rs 50/ entry charges for non members.oversll one can avoid going there.

Rangoli restaurant is located at 2nd floor of Matunga Gujarati Club which is at King Circle nect to Don Bosco school opposite Khalsa College . We tried the gujarati thaali for lunch which was spectacular beyond works . The thaali was enourmous including farsan , dhokla , puri , ghee rotis , kadhi dal , biryani , plain rice , mango puree , papad , salad , pickle , gulab jamun , 5 different gravy vegetables , jal jeera & salted butter milk . All items are unlimited . Each item has distinct taste & flavour . I was confused where to start from as there was so much food ! Sweet , savoury , crunchy - an amalgamation of textures & aromas all in one plate ! One can eat to their hearts content here as the polite servers keep serving piping hot food right from the kitchen . Definitely value for money in all respect . Ideal to celebrate any occasion with large number of guests .

Last week I visit , new caterers introduce, not proper taste of all items not proper thali system serve average taste of vegetables, also average farsan not proper, sweet also not proper serving system, basically in Gujarati thali 2 to 3 sweet & in this one liquid sweet, also 2 to 3 in farsan one fried & vegetables all not proper with all items & not fill like complete proper Gujarati thali so request to proper serve with all items , like Thakkar bhojanalaya kalabadevi Also over price Not proper combination of Gujarati thali Suggestion: improve like Thakkar thali

I have never eaten such bland & insipid food...there are many places which serve good gujarati thalis...please avoid this place...only the khaman dhokla ( farsan served in the beginning of thali) was decent. There were 3 vegetables - kofta curry ( 1/5), jeera aloo ( 2/5..hardly any salt), drumstick vegetable ( (0/5), and basundi ( one of the few better tasting items, 3.5/5), Of course the standard khatti meethi dal& gujarati kadhi, rice & tomato pulav ( horrible taste) among other items in the thali. But a highly forgettable experience. I was so disappointed thatI did not even click any pics of thali..

Rangoli Restaurant in Matunga is the best thaali restaurant around. We were served with gujrati thali. They have Gujrati Thalis between 12pm to 3pm and Punjabi Thali between 7pm to 10pm. We were amazed by the quality and quantity of food served to us in very quick time. The staff there was very cooperative. Ambience was perfect according to the place. We enjoyed our time at this place. Highly recommended.

Decor is awesome and very calm The food items served were all delicious and mouth watering I enjoyed eating dhokla as i love it the most Service was very fast and served hot .
