Mattilang park is on the opposite side of Elephant falls. You can have a good view of the falls and spend time leisurely. This park is good for kids as it has the usual slides and swings and ample space for running. The park sometimes features rock music from local bands. Usually very crowded on holidays.

Such a great experience to visit Matilang patk, its a good park for bring kids , Friends and family... Awesome.... I Love this place

Pleasing atmosphere, beautiful scenery however could've done better with beautification and maintenance.

Beautiful park overlooking Elephant falls in Shillong, Meghalaya. Big area to stroll around amidst nature, listen to music, eat, let children play etc. There is entrance fees to be paid. Private cars are allowed in park with fees. For two adults and car we paid one hundred thirty rupees. Ate chicken chow for hundred rupees a plate. Chicken momos for rupees seventy a plate. Good place to while away time. Recommended for old age group.

Good for elderly as you don't need to go through steep steps to reach the waterfall...but infra like restaurants, cafeteria are very shabily kept..can be improved by leaps & bound..more professional approach required
