Mattighatta Green Ravine Nature stay - Home Stay in Mattighatta - Uttara Kannada, India

We had been here for 2 days, it's a homely ambience with very delicious food. We got very good welcoming with a drink. Had 24-hours hot water, very hygienic rooms and dining area. Owner/Servers/care-takers are very dedicative. I would like to mention more about food, it's extremely very healthy and tasty( red rice,raw papaya palya, rice kheer with vanilla, mango chutney) We also bought raw papaya, jonni Bella, black peppers, herlikai and honey from their own estate. If your looking for work from home then it's a great choice.

Will Adjectives will run out if we have to describe this place. Definitely recommended. Courteous and friendly staff. They serve only veg which was best part for me. Authentic malnad food is served and I loved every bit of it. The last stretch has no tar so drive carefully, better to honk. The property is well maintained. USP is location and people. Had visited during monsoon next visit will be in winter. If any veg families want to visit this place by all means go ahead.

We were family of 3 with a kid stayed in this beautiful homestay for a day.. Everything about this place is amazing.. Be it food, the nature or hygienic rooms.. And the hospitality of the owners pramod and pavitra is to another level they made our stay comfortable and memorable one.. Had a great time here!

I started off with a bad note in heart about not wearing flip-flops to the bathroom, but Pramod the owner of this place cleared my issues first thing in the morning and made my stay blissful as this place is. Food and ambience is just next level sweet.

We family of 5 stayed for one night. Place is surrounded by greenery and hills. There is a small stream, kids had fun in the water. Home made food was good. City folks will experience the rustic surroundings. Host Pramod is an excellent guide and awesome host. Overall good experience and would recommend this place.

We stayed here for 4 days. Amazing hospitality and great environment. Authentic in nature and gives the homely feeling. We had a great stay. Very kind and helpful staff. The rooms are very neat and clean with splendid views of greenery. The food was healthy and delicious. Pramod (owner) is knowledgeable, guides and provides all the support to visit beautiful places near by which made our stay a memorable one. Must visit and Highly recommended. Looking forward to plan for another trip here .

Hi, we stayed here for 2 days and the experience was very beautiful amidst nature. We specifically loved nature view around the home stay and kudos to the team maintaining hygiene overall. My kids also enjoyed the stay at the tent , shooting games and the campfire. Mr.Pramod and his wife and the entire staff was very cooperative and had patience to all the customizations we requested during our stay. Food, milk and welcome drink was really fresh and healthy. It's a good place to visit to refresh your mind and relax. Thanks to the entire team for great hospitality.

Myself and a friend intended to hike to Mattighatta falls. We reached that hike starting point by around 11:30 AM on 2 motorbikes and were surprised that what used to be a home a few years back is now a homestay. Pramod who runs a sustainable eco-friendly homestay welcomed us. After introductions he gave us the directions to the waterfall. As we were about to leave he suggested that we should have lunch as it might be 2:30 by the time we return. We agreed. When we returned, he welcomed us with a local hot beverage made of spices. He showed us around the property. The rooms and the dormitary are very well maintained and provide scenic views. Lunch was served in a dining hall on first floor. The tables are laid out on a balcony with an amazing view. Local cuisine food was tasty and prepared in a homely fashion. Post lunch we were accompanied to a view point on the terrace where you get 360 degrees view.
