Awesome place with various types of fish dishes. Reasonable price with great taste. Fish rice combo was awesome but I love the Bhangadey fish recipe. It's a highly recommended one. Love this place!!!
Took refuge in this restaurant during an unexpected heavy downpour. It's a seafood restaurant, in the periphery of cubbon park. It's a self service restaurant. One has to choose from a menu displayed near the cash counter, and get a token for what one intends to eat. The standard meal has ragi mudde or chapati, rice, fish curry, rasam and buttermilk. This in itself is a tasty and filling meal. The fish curry was of mackerel. I got a plate of fried lady fish (Kane) on the side. Food was fresh and tasty. Portions are good. Extra mudde, rice etc can be ordered. Don't think there's any option for vegetarians. Cleanliness is good. Saw tables being cleaned without any delay. Only drawback is that they do not accept UPI payments. It's cash or card. Recommended for seafood lovers.
Food: only fish items are available. Fish tastes good. They give rice, mudda/ chapati along with fish curry. Curry is yummy . Butter milk is also available(tastes good). Fish / prawns fry is available too. Service: only self service Ambience: only ceiling fans are available. It's bit hot inside due to plastics sheets on the top. Evening time it may be cool. Overall it's good to taste once, especially fish lovers. Price is not too expensive.
Fish fry was fresh, relicious nd worth paying money. I Tought keep visiting Matsya Darshini... You too keep up the quality nd maintain the taste%. Thnk you

A value for money place for having seafood. Place is not very hygienic and food is cold most of the time. Crowded on most days. Fried fish, prawns and other fish are made well and reasonably priced. Very simple and crowded with basic metal infrastructure and furniture. Visit with limited expectations and you may have a nice meal. Parking for four wheelers is a challenge.
Mathsya Darshini, near kr circle cubbon park, it is also called as fish canteen. Dishes are hygienic and tasty at reasonable price. Especially fish kabab here is next level for the fish lover. During the lunch time, it's crowded but still manageable. One who wanted to explore the costal foods can visit here.
Few dishes are good in taste. But nothing super exciting. Not the best place to have flavorfull food. But decent enough. Ambience is below average. Overall, can be avoided for food. Good place to buy raw / ornamental fishes.
