This spectacularly scenic and unexplored gem of nature is amongst the most beautiful waterfalls in Matheran. Reachable after a short trek through paddy fields, dirt trails, and cool streams, the waterfall is encased in thickets of lush vegetation. It's quite an experience seeing the waters being thrown at such great speeds into the plunge pool and is perfect for spending an entire day away from the city. Location: Khopoli, Maharashtra. Height of the waterfall: Around 38 metres. Best time: -Monsoon months of June-September.
Matheran is a beautiful place where you can enjoy some trek, long walk, long drive with family and friends. This time we didn't go to the main location (points) because it was over crowded and there was no place to park our car. It's better to go there on week days. Cover all the points with some bhutta, chai or Maggie. We stopped our car at some place then went for a trek. It was raining also. Totally enjoyed.
Visited in june month & waterglow was very low making it looks like a very ordinary waterfall compared to other waterfalls of this area. Give more priority to scenic views & adventures of matheran & if u get some time left, then u can spend that time here.
This waterfall is midway once you start driving upwards from hutatma chowk to Aman lodge... I'll recommend that you should travel with personal vehicle as local taxi drivers don't stop here
We went to Neral Station and then walked up from the rail track and reached there it was amazing and mind-blowing
Great Waterfall roadside If you want to go here via public transport then you need to come till Neral railway station then sharing car is going on Rs 100 per seat
This is small waterfall but attractive one in matheran and you will find it on the way next to main road please visit here during the monsoon. This one is attract tourist and it will surely makes you stop here and if there is a fogg then it will be a majestic one. This place where u should stop and enjoy the waterfall before going up. It is majestic and cool. And it is bit slippery there better watch ur steps.
A must visit place A waterfall where u can enjy with ur family were ladies and children can dive into nature just loved it and yes beawre of the sleepery people often fall for it
