Mathai's Quick Bites - Restaurant in Sultan Bathery - Wayanad, India

This was my favourite eatery in Wayanad. I became a fan of their Shawarma T_T and i miss it terribly. Especially loved the pickled veggies they gave along with it and the soft fluffy bread. We went to have it twice after our first time and didn't have luck, it's available after 1pm and mostly sells out by evening. We also tried their cakes and coffee which were good. The bakery section had an assortment of sweets and we liked the jaggery jalebi. Would definitely revisit next time!

Breakfast: I ate Puttu and Aappam with kadalai curry for breakfast here which was nice. Puttu and kadalai curry was nice. Aappam was more like Tamil Nadu's Uthappam. Lunch: Ate half Beef and chicken biryani. One Half should be enough for an adult. Beef biryani was good but could have been soft. Chicken Biryani was too oily. Dinner: Ate Shawarma plate for dinner here. They used Pita bread instead of Kuboos which was a turn off. The chicken stuffing also didn't had much taste. I could eat it only with vinegar soaked vegetables which came along with Shawarma. Their Shawarma machine was quite different from our regular vertical ones.

The atmosphere of the place was very good. The staff were friendly and on top of that, the food was amazing. If you visit this place also have coffee there, it was really good. Shawarma is the usp of this place, however, it becomes unavailable after 6:00 P.M. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great place for quic long bite indeed. Yea and coffee are refreshing. Shawarma was very tasty.

We have been customers of Martha's Quick Bites for several years...Nice attitude of the staff is an attraction..Price is reasonable and the place is neat and tidy with fresh air. Newly opened Reso Cafe of the same group is also a must try...

Very bad. Bought a shawarma but was good for nothing. Pickles were over. Meat was nothing but a overload of mayo.no flavour at all Lot of lack in coordination in service as well.i got shawarma only after my juice was over

Foods are great, fresh and tasty ... Just customer dealings are meh !!! Gone for Chicken sandwich x5 as parcel. And many people came there after me got servered. Not First come first served.... No queue system.... Typical Indian setup... If you want items in time, Just jump in , don't wait for them to ask you ... be impolite and order. (don't mind me .. it's the thing bothers me much in any shops, as part of their customer service. Just after quality of products )
