Although it might be a small restaurant and not so sofisticated but believe me Bengali food is simply tasty. Here number of items is less but one would definitely like the homely and tasty bengali food. The owner (Masima) is helpful too. She helped us in providing car rent for nominal rate. It's situated near taxi stand of kalimpong
Calling this restaurant Worst would be an understatement. The lady at the counter was grossly arrogant and displayed poor behavioural traits and upbringing. Leave aside the filthy drain that one has to cross to reach the hotel, quality of food is substandard and the overall hygeine is compromised. I wish we never visited them. It screwed our memories of a perfect family trip. I wish we had got at least one honest review about these scumbags. Atleast, now you have one. AVOID THEM EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO EAT PARLE G for lunch.
Great service and the best Indian food of our stay in Kalimpong. We are here for one more day, and we are coming back! Highly recommend the mutton and chicken thali, as well as the onion pakora. BYOB. Delicious and friendly!!
Food is ok. Few of the staffs are arrogant and has behavioral issue. Good for a grabing a quick bite and if there's no other option. Bit on the unhygienic side. Not recommended during this pandemic. Cook was coughing while cooking. Just go, eat and pay. Don't expect simple mannerism. Dont trust them when they say that they provide home delivery. They will charge you more but won't deliver where you want. You have to go and get the delivery. You might not experience these at your first visit but after a few visits you will know what I mean. There's better option out there in the city with more variety and taste.
Good friendly behavior. Known for bengali dishes. We crashed there hungry at 3 PM after not finding any decent restaurant for lunch during our return journey from sight seeing. And food was really tasty, I had chicken thali. It contained rice, dal, 2 sabzis, alu chips and chicken curry. We came back again for breakfast next day.. Had alu paratha with ketchup which was nice as well.
