Good near rooms ...staff was cooperative and friendly...budget friendly rooms for family. Near to payyambalam beach and near to town. Has car parking facility and restaurants nearby.

Hotel was a more than expectation spot for Kannur district Suite was really good.

In October 2022, my friends and I went to Kannur for a reception. The host had booked rooms for us in Mascot Paradise Hotel. This hotel is located just ten minutes from the Kannur Railway Station. We were a group of four. Seeing the outside of the hotel, I wondered what the rooms would look like. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved when I entered my room! It was huge, with a large wardrobe, dressing table with vertical mirror, TV, Mini Fridge and a queen size bed. There is a medium size uncovered balcony attached to this room. The sheets and comforter were very clean. The towels were not too clean, so ensure you bring your own set. Toiletries are not provided either. In the bathroom, there is no shower curtain, so there are chances of the water flowing until the door. No geezer is installed in the bathroom since the management said they have solar on the roof. But if you are going to take a bath early in the morning, then let me warn you that you will not get hot water. I checked in around 10:30 a.m. and checked out the next day around 9:30 a.m. We did not eat breakfast the next day in the restaurant, but ate lunch in their in house restaurant, Cafe Maysoon, on the day we arrived. We also enjoyed glasses of piping hot filter coffee and a few local delicacies in the Cafe Maysoon located near the hotel's front gate. My friends stayed in the suite and I must say, this room was extremely spacious as well. Once you enter, you can see half of the room to the left with a Dressing Table with Mirror, Mini Fridge, Plush Sofa and Two Chairs. The Sofa opens out to a bed There is only one bathroom for the Suite Now moving to the other side of the room, you can find two twin size beds. My friends asked for an extra one as they were a total of three people. There is sufficient parking for two and four wheelers. This hotel is known for its wedding hall which is located at the back of the hotel. Can recommend this hotel for solo women travellers and for short, overnight trips.

I was there for a marriage function but not well maintained.

Good price for good room...there was a ample space in room with balcony also ...wifi connection and Android tv made some more good thing to that room....very nice rooms and cot with good water supply...I couldn't find a drawback...overall it was an excellent stay

MASCOT PARADISE in Kannur near SN Park on Kannur-Alavil route is a convention centre with facilities for marriages and functions of various types. It has a major auditorium, mini convention centre - air-conditioned - both are spacious and well designed. They organise catering services too for the functions. Being in the heart of the city - it is more ideal for any functions to conduct. Easy access to Bus and Rail connections, other modes of transportation too are available. An excellent convention centre one can rely on......

Pros 1. Room is really big 2. Rate is cheap (around 750) 3. Hotwater is available Cons 1. Poorly maintained 2. Bed, towel, bedsheets - everything unhygienic and itchy. 3. The security guy is not cordial. We were a family including small kids and checked in very late. This guy made us wait half an hour to fill in the forms and all. In all other places we went, only one of us were asked to stay for filling up forms and register. This happened even after having a confirmed online prepaid booking. Avoidable.
