Mascot Beach Resort - Resort hotel in Kannur - Kannur, India

Title: Disappointing Experience at Mascot Beach Resort I recently stayed at Mascot Beach Resort Delux rooms, and unfortunately, it was far from what I expected. Despite being rated as a 3-star hotel, it felt more like a neglected establishment that barely deserved a single star. The age of the property was evident, with evident signs of poor maintenance throughout. The rooms were far from satisfactory - they were not only dirty but also showed the wear and tear of time. The only redeeming feature was the sea view, which, in my opinion, only justified a fraction of the price charged. The hallways leading to the rooms were in an appalling state, giving off a sense of neglect and disregard for cleanliness. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was a major letdown. With a mere three dishes on offer, it was a far cry from what one would expect, even from a budget hotel. The restaurant itself was a reflection of the overall state of the property - old, shabby, and clearly lacking in proper upkeep. It baffles me how this establishment holds a 3-star rating, as the property's condition is far from what one would expect from a place of this caliber. In conclusion, my stay at Mascot Beach Resort was a major disappointment. The only saving grace was the view, but it hardly made up for the poor conditions and lackluster amenities. I would not recommend this hotel to fellow travelers, and I hope the management takes steps to address these glaring issues.

The resort is just beside the Arabian sea giving majestic views. Coming to the rooms, it is okay( not too good, not bad either). Can be improved with lights, adding more amenities. Wifi is very poor, although they give you login credentials but the network itself is poor. They serve complimentary breakfast which is sufficient, you can also order food from the restaurant which indeed is good and well cooked.

Mascot beach resort has a great location. Not only is it located on sea cliff, the neighbourhood is also a Cantonment. It is very quite and peaceful. The rooms themselves are quite dated and the furniture while functional needs some up keep. Room only had 1 plug that can accept a USA style adapter. We had breakfast and it was the standard breakfast spread with 5 to 6 main items. While the people working at Mascot were very nice and polite I think attention to detail was missing. For example, while the room had facility to make tea/coffee there was no spoon for stirring. The room had only one towel to begin with and no hand napkins. Saddest thing is that we saw one room service person throw some litter in the sea! One other thing that took us by surprise was that the WiFi was not free and the charges were fixed at 550 rs per day! This place has lot of potential. If the service staff is better trained to have an eye for detail then Mascot can provide amazing experiences to its guests.

Location is exquisite. The resort ticks all the points necessary to make it exceptional. Good job by the management, staff , caretakers. Warm and friendly staff, food at the restaurant is delicious, a must try if u visit this side of town. I recommend this place to family n friends. The surrounding neighbourhood is beautiful, neat and well maintained

The hotel is located on the shore (it's not a sand beach but a rock beach or shore). The view from the hotel is lovely and also the hotel has a good space inside and outside for a walk. The pool is also nice and complimentary breakfast has a good mix of South Indian and bread butter omelette choices...hotel has a nice staff and a nice spa which is quite reasonable.

This review is for the restaurant. We went there for a family dinner and sat outside in the seaside verandah. The view is stunning, the service by Deep was excellent and the food was tasty as well. No complaints at all. The kids had fun in the grounds.

The hotel is situated on a cliff which makes it a splendid location.Pool facility and buffet breakfast was also nice.Courteous staff and front desk.
