Marudhara Restaurant - Vegetarian restaurant in Shekhala - Jodhpur, India

The place has a lot of green space and ideal if you are traveling with kids. As they have a huge lawn with slides and swing for kids. They have all kind of sitting with open air, pagoda sitting and lawn sitting. The food is moderately priced almost same as city menu. We ordered cashew curry with tawa roti for us and tomato uttapam along with Idly Sambhar for kids. The food arrived within 10min the service was very fast and quality of food was good too. The kids loved the place and it's a good stop over. The board said it's by an ex army person so you can expect it to be good only

Quite a good roadside family restaurant cum guesthouse run by an ex-army official on Jaisalmer-Jodhpur road. It provides both open air and covered (regular concrete building as well as small tent) dining spaces. It has a small green lawn adjacent to the restaurant which has a big swing and a kids' play area and surrounded by flowers all around. It serves vegetarian options only. Considering the fact that this is a highway eatery with little local clientele, the menu options are decent covering Pan-Indian taste differences. Taste-wise also food is quite good, though it may not taste fully authentic for regional dishes which originated far away from Rajasthan (e.g. sambhar).

Good but very expensive One glass of buttermilk costs 50 Rs. While the same glass is available as 20 - 30 Rs. At other places. So I don't recommend this place for tourists who want a road stay during the journey.

Good Place for fresh for few minutes, We have taken here some coffee and refreshing. Neat and clean area and nature orientated place. Staff are good. Services is also good. If you travelling from Jodhpur to phalodi you can use this restaurant for tea and coffee with some snacks. Overall it's fine.

The place is alright. Nothing wow about the ambience instead they had some plates not properly washed that we have to send back. Food is not at all tasty. We only ate as we were hungry and it was only place on the highway that was open. We still found the food bad. You have some better options around.

Average restaurant on the way to Jaisalmer from Jodhpur. Seems usually gets crowded because of less options of hotels on the highway. Service is very delayed. We had to wait almost 45 mins to get our food. Before that we had to wait in our table for 25 mins to someone to take our order. Bathrooms are very dirty. Food quality is average. We tried Ker Sangri, Aloo Mutter, Mushroom Masala. Very spicy and less salty. Buffet is served in the open area where not much of good seating space because it becomes bit difficult to eat under direct sunlight.

A perfect place to stop by and have breakfast or lunch. It has beautiful open garden filled with flowers and place is clean too. Parathas and Sandwiches are recommended. Good service and reasonable rates too.
