A very scenic temple of Mahadev located at the top of Mountain. View was amazing from the top. A must place to visit.
The view is amazing at the time of sunrise and sets... Would prefer you to come early sunrise during winter and enjoy sunrise with ..
Its a very great place if you are an explorer ,a lots of people do come visit this place to worship God Shiva and God Hanuman. When you visit this place, on the top of the hill you will see the temple of God Shiva and God Hanuman. Local people from this place do also claims that the hills have the foot print of God Hanuman. As per their saying, God Hanuman travel across from this place when God Hanuman was on the visit to Sri Lanka. Well, that's not the only interesting thing you will get to see on that place, as you climb on the top of the hill you can view the actual heaven from there (The greatest peace of mind ) . There's a place on the top of the hill (kund) where you can see the small pond where water never seems to exist neither the existence of a pond is possible on the top of hill. That small pond never seems to dry off even in summer even the origin of this pond unknown too. As you look closely in that small pond, you will see the lots of snake (cobra) in that pond. People believe that the snakes are due to God Shiva temple. People also believe that the snakes are only on hill where kund is , the locals says the snake doesn't harm you in any way . Local people do worship that place too. (Facts :- that pond is way to small but some locals also says that the person drown on that pond and even the body was also not recovered from that pond .) So what do you guys think about this , please comment on that after visiting Marasilli Pahaad
One of the best place for relaxation. View of Sunrise and sunset is awesome.
Awesome place, amazing viewpoints.. a very old lord Shiva's temple at the top. You can visit the place in any season but in winter it looks amazing.. Some small shops are available for tea, snacks. Paid Parking available.. a must visit place....
This is not a review about the top view from the hill this is more about the back of the hill. I went to the back of the hill and it is as beautiful as it can be on a cloudy day. The place has very awesome looking path in between forest a very good place camping your night out. P.S.: Respect mother nature don't litter we only got one.
It is a beautiful place. To experience the best of this hillock visit during winter/ spring. If you're an adventure junkie, a visit during monsoon would be unreal (but do that at your risk)! - There is a small shop at the site - A local ticket is levied - Best accessed by two wheelers - Carry cash and bring your own food - and most importantly, do not litter!
