Pros Food was excellent. Exactly similar to home made food. Served hot and a must taste place atleast once. My daughter and Parents really loved the food served hot and Tasty(me too) Space Spacious house and best suited for groups,families and friends with a head count ranging from 10 to 15. Cons WIFI Website shows WIFI is available so I had took my laptop for connecting. But the Manager Rajamani said it is not available. He gave me a password for internet connection but that was not at enabling me to connect to web. Even Voice calls were not working properly. CLEANLINESS and HYGIENE Bathrooms: Must improve in cleaning the Bathroom. The Bath tub available was not clean. I infact fell down in Bathroom twice Bedsheets: Used bedsheets were provided and lot of stains in bedspreads. Room Cleaning: they should aim o clean the Rooms in case Guests are staying for extended days. Overall not a best and safe place for Family and Children. Can be suitable for Bachelors.
It's a simple and neatly maintained villa!!, it's pretty old.. with the wooden floors and the door with old school designs! Aged well with a lot of garden area for parking n campfire! I forgot to take pictures.. overall a great pick for staying with a group n family
A total of 5 rooms which can accommodate a Max of 20 people ...... U need to inform the cook in advance of your requirements.no shops nearby. ...a bit of spooky in the night,yet close to the main road. Yessss ....this is my type of gateway to a vacation.an old world charm with huge rooms and offcourse bigger than life bathrooms.snt need to go anywhere,but just sit in the balcony and enjoy a cup of hot lemon tea.the food is very delicious.
The location of the property is inside but the location is very nice. The property ambiance is also good. Food provision is there in the property but was very limited. Cleanliness of the room and the washroom was also good and the conduct of the staff was also good. However the room that we expected was not the room that we got, rather it was a medium grade room.
One of the best places to stay at Kotagiri. It's almost near to the bus stand and still has an isolated aura. Surrounded by trees and away from the commercial zones, it's easily the best getaway places. Pros: 1. Food cooked by the staff there is adequate and tasty. We had a good chappathi and a tasty chicken gravy. 2. Complementary breakfast. 3. Friendly staff 4. 24x7 geyser facility 5. Campfire 6. Vast parking space 7. Can have quite and peaceful walks outside Cons: 1. A waypoint boards installed on the road can be useful for someone coming first time. 2. Taking your car out everytime can be little time consuming. The price was nominal. But felt it could be a little bit cheaper. Overall a worthy place for your weekend getaway
Sorry to say that a place which demanded 5stars was spoiled due to incompetent management and staffs. Eventhough they charge 4 star rates, even a generator was not provided. We were stranded without electricity for hours with kids and ladies and vacated at 9 30 pm. Ambience and rooms are excellent as a bungalow. But make sure they provide the backup if you plan to visit. Food is average and charges much above the value.
Absolutely loved the stay and the property surrounding. Breakfast is complementary and other meals should be pre-ordered. The homecook akka is very friendly and she cooks delicious homestyle food.
Dissapointed. We had great expectations after seeing the pics of room and villa online, unfortunately, the state of the villa and room at present is in a very sad state. A beautiful and cozy cafe in Kotagiri. The food was just too good! And the desserts and hot chocolate were lip smacking. The couple who runs the place were too sweet and hosted us like their own kids. Definitely would recommend 5/5 !

Best place to stay in Kotagiri for a relaxing experience. The caretaker Mr. Graden is exceptionally good at tending to the guests and I should say we got more than we asked for everytime. The food is delicious and our favourite was the chicken roast!
