It is a really great place to be with your loved once/friends or family, the place is very peaceful full of greenery and you can do boating also to explore this beautiful place

This beautiful lake is nestled in the lap of rolling hills filled with greenery. The walking bridge over the lake adds charm to the scenario. Children are attracted to this place because of the children's park which is situated by the side of the lake and the availability of boating facilities. The promenade by the side of the lake makes it ideal place for a leisurely stroll and enjoy the serene environment.

We went on a sunday. The vibe was chill. The park is pretty. The lake has many fishes. You can go have a small picnic with a family and family. We have to bring your readymade food of course because there is no cooking facility. Washrooms are available. Entry ticket for adult is Rs30 and parking ticket is Rs50.

The place is awesome and breathtaking ..located near the Ri Bhoi district capital Nongpoh...It is 6.7 kilometers away from the Town and it is loacted near the District Jail ...On the way to this place the scenery is already soo breathtaking with pineapples plantations covering entire hill sides surrounded by vast stretches of tea gardens and arecanut plantations. With long and beautiful stretches of paddy fileds and beautiful huts all along the road to this lake . On arriving one will agree that this place just from the outside is already enough to convince anyone that the place is worth visiting ..the park is well maintained there are a number of huts made in the typical Khasi style kitchen for cooking purposes and eating purposes. The lake is huge and is filled with beautiful water lilies and lotuses with many many many different species of fish ...There is also a good and well maintained public restroom ..the lake is also surrounded by tea and pineapple plantations ...there is also boating facility on this Lake which is also available a reasonable price..

Best Place to visit for having lunch for Tourist and also for local people. Entry fees also very low so dont worry only 30rs per person and for parking you have to pay 20rs for bike .

Must admit I've been missing some cool places. Over the years, I've passed this point several times, but never thought of going there. It was a pleasure visiting this place.
