Came to meet Dr Prakashan Gurukkal to get treatment for some problems. He is pretty good in Marma (similar to acu points) treatments. You can YouTube Prakashan Gurukkal and check out some of his videos. That's how I came to know about him. :)

Good treatment for the back pain and disc related issues. Gurukal is a very humble person and immense knowledge in marma treatment. I'm undergone massage ,vasthi and kizhi treatment under Dr. Athul. He is also very friendly person and satisfied with the way of treatment. Thank you Dr. Athul. All Doctors and staffs are very cooperative and friendly. Under the guidance of Gurukkal they are giving the best. Staying facilities are also available and rates are nominal compared to similar kind of treatment. My wife was diagnosed with L5-S1 slip disk stage 2. I had taken opinion from three orthopedic surgeons who suggested that surgery with permanent titanium screw caging is the only option to avoid further worsening of her condition and assured only 60 - 70% recovery from pain. I was very much worried hearing this and wondered what if any further compression occurs elsewhere in the spine. We understood that the spinal cord needs to be aligned and strengthened thoroughly to avoid further complications. We strongly believed that Marmam treatment combined with Ayurveda and yoga techniques is the best option to heal the spine naturally without having to undergo surgery, which is neither assuring nor promising in any way. Now, we were on the hunt to look for experts in Marmam, so, approached a good ayurvedic and marmam treatment centre locally, who scared us again saying that it will take at least 6 months to one year of treatment through 4 sessions of 14 - 21 days/session (with about 1 hr of treatment/day) and that she has to be on bed rest until then. This again seemed to be business-oriented treatment and not genuine. I then checked with my friends in Kerala for the best place to get my wife treated through marmam. Most of them suggested Dr. Prakasan gurukkal who has been treating such patients for decades and doing this with a service-oriented mentality, which I experienced it after reaching Marmasramam, Kollam. We stayed in one of the in-patient rooms available at Marmasramam and the treatment started from day 1 after Dr. Prakasan carefully looked into the X-ray and MRI reports that we had carried along. He assured by stating "we will manage her condition, don't worry" which really gave us the peace of mind. Later, we realized that many patients visiting his clinic had dropped the option of surgery and had come to him for rescue. Dr. and his team were kind, very skillful and paid utmost attention to the pain points and intended to provide complete relief, which is very much appreciated. My wife's pain initially seemed to increase but was brought into control from day 4. Everyday, the doctor checked my wife during the 2-3 hour treatment session and closely followed up on how she is responding to the treatment. Marmam treatment, which my wife always calls "Magic" was applied meticulously along with ayurvedic treatment involving natural oils and pastes made from medicinal plants, that relieves pain wonderfully. In a week's time, I was extremely happy to see my wife move around without pain in her spine, knees and legs. She has been advised to take rest for a month's time so that the restored spinal disk heals well. I whole-heartedly thank Dr. Prakasan gurukkal for treating my wife who was suffering from tremendous pain her spinal cord, knees and legs. I strongly recommend this marmam, ayurvedic and siddha treatment to patients who are suffering from dislocation/pain in the spinal cord, joints, knees, legs, hands, neck, etc. Please please do not go for surgery, which should be considered as the last option. Do take several opinions as health is the most valuable asset given to us during our lifetime. Take good care of your health to support your family and friends (who are well wishers). This is a very reliable, proven, authentic, scientific, superior and very ancient Indian methodology of treatment gaining more attention in the recent times. Dr.Prakasan Gurukkal is personally known to me as one of my beloved friends.Classical physics does not give any explanation to the nature of Mystic Power possessed by him in displaying Nokkumarmum ,Choondumurmum and Oothumurmam . Just looking at 'opponents' and waving his hands in thin air,the opponents shall be thrown away.Also he can perform"Sthmbhanakriya".The opponent becomes static and virtually becomes more or less like a statue.Only Prakasan Gurukkal can save him from such a state.
