The place was deserted, the view has been rightfully fenced. The bridge for the view seems old. The weather was nice while we trekked from the Yantra resorts we were staying in.

It's a small lake. Surroundings are Clean and green. Not much crowded. It's visible from road itself. A descent way is available to both the banks. Weather changes quickly here with some low clouds adding to the beauty.
This is a small lake that falls on the way from Masinagudi towards Ooty, after you have covered the 36 hairpin bend road. You can just halt here for 5-10 mins, relax a bit, grab a few pics, admire the beauty of nature and resume your drive. The road here is a bit congested, so make sure you don't park your car blocking the road way. There's usually a lot of rush in the weekends from tourists travelling to Ooty. There's also a small bridge on the lake, but I'd recommend not to walk over it because it's quite old and might not be in a condition to withhold any weight.
It s very near to Ooty and nearer to police station . We could see gaurs in evening times. People spoted some carnivores sometimes. Less crowded spot. Heaven for Introverts like me. Can spend time there seeing the glowing water and greeneries... But it is very close to road. For safety don't bring kids there. The worn out hand rails giving panic...

It's a beautiful lake with no humans around which is how it should be. Please don't pollute if you happen to go there and I hope no resorts etc open up around to destroy the place. Enjoy the beauty in serene surrounding, birds and ducks and respect it please. Recommended.
The not so famous but all the more beautiful Marlimund lake. A source of water for a good part of Ooty. Literally, the overhead tank of Ooty. Beautiful lake on a sparsely populated stretch.. riding through these areas is like riding through heaven! Great place for spending good time.
