MARISCO SEAFOOD CARNIVAL - Restaurant in Chennai - Chennai, India

Went there looking for seafood. I ordered pomfret and got something that tasted like breaded cardboard covered in chaat masala. Tried the prawns and it was meh. Also tried the shawarma and that was really good. So good I got another. Skip the seafood here.

Visited on a Sunday evening . Now service road towards Poonamalle is closed but you can park your two wheelers. Name board is having as seafood carnival but not that much sea food varieties are available. Only fish finger, prawn were available but they had chicken biryani and shawarma readily available. They took more time to serve.

Visited on Sep 10 2022. When there are flooded restaurants who make the same kind broiler chicken dishes. It is good to have restaurants giving importance to seafood like these. It could be better if they extend the menu and to have all dishes available which are mentioned in the menu, only 50% of the menu available over the counter. Updated after eating. Started to not feeling well.

I am not sure how this place has such high rating ? This is truly Street food with open kitchen facing a highway! The staff is very helpful. We ordered looking at the pics but food did not look anything like the photos The food tasted very bad. Couldn't taste the prawn ? And fish seemed undercooked . I dint eat much as there were so many flies around and I am afraid the food might lead to food poisoning as kitchen dint look clean or hygenic :/ I would say there are better places for dining in Porur. Totally skip this place please .

If you're living in Chennai or just visiting from somewhere else, this is the place to go. Fantastic Seafood, very good Service and great People all around. The Food and the prices are unbeatable. It's a must try.

Great flavor and taste. Loved the softness of the Chicken & the aroma of quality ingredients. Brinjal curry was superb ! and the Raita too. Keep up the good work

It's a street shop. The seats have no roof. I saw them cooking, but they weren't perfectly clean. However, there is a very delicious smell around. Atmosphere is good.

Best dishes of seafood carnival. I've tried most of dishes. Every thing was good n fresh especially there sea food. They don't use Basa fish in there menu. Quality n quantity also good.
