Don't ever expect a businessman to be very friendly. If he is, then there is something wrong underneath. A polite shop owner is more than what you should expect. Shantanu da is very well behaved. His prices are very reasonable. You should call before visiting his shop. I recommend you to make a visit. But, please keep your ego at home.
Excellent place to buy quality fish with reasonable price. Not only fish, even dry items are awesome over there. It's a shop with variety of aquarium accessories, fish foods. And the owner santanu da is a nice guy. Overall I loved the place...... must visit :)

worst fish shop.. very rude behaviour... they dont know how to talk with a customer.. every products rate are high... dont go there.... There are so many other marine shop you can go there but not here atleast

A good place for home decoration
That Shantanu Gunguly is a worthless fellow.The stock is very poor and gave me an infected fish.I called him after my fish got ill.He picked up the phone and when i tried to share my problem he just ended the call.He is a a crazy fellow with bad temperament.Lots of good options are there in kolkata and do not ever buy any stuff from this guy.
Shantanu Gunguly and all his fishes are sick.If you buy his fishes and put it in your main tank all the fishes in your tank will be affected and will die.This what happened to me and with my fishes.Dont ever buy fishes from this idiot.He does not bother to pick up his phone when you are in trouble.
