Stopped by for lunch and everything ordered was good esp the seafood. Quick bite enroute to Pitchavaram instead of going into the city. Found out They also have good rooms to stay while the food was being cooked Try to their fish and chips and fish steak Fish and chips they use boneless fillet of sea fish not basha fish and the price Rs290! The soda batter on fish and chips is amazing

I have been eating here since 2017. Have seen the locality booming. Marine drive restraunt is the first restraunt where I had lunch in 2017 and since then I have been a regular customer here. Must try food: Crab Masala with parotha or chapati.

Great food, great location & great price. Amazing fried rice, fry & pepper prawn. The fish fry - MUST HAVE. All are Delicious to the core. Simply enjoyed. Decor is good too. Good service. Has a small place for pet fishes and a small lawn with a swing. No idea why the ratings are low.

Very worst service ,not at all recommended especially when you come form other places to pondicherry avoid this restaurant.Food quantity is very less and prices are too high. If you see any positive reviews they may be very old or fake .

Had a pretty bad impression on this restaurant. We visited Marine Drive Restaurant for lunch, seeing all the good reviews. Ordered Squid Fry, Crab Fry and Prawns, the quantity was less and the quality was very poor. When you order Crab, you expect it to be in its own form with the shells on. But they just served us a dish stating it was Crab. The other available food we ordered was Biryani, which didn't have the usual flavour. The ambience is good, but the service have to improve. 25-30 people can easily fit in. If you are looking for a good Seafood Restaurant in Pondy, should probably try out the others. For someone who looks to have budget friendly and good quality food, I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

Nice ambiance but be prepared for mosquitos if your dining for dinner, don't go with the displayed board for the briyani, its only for lunch most of the time. Other ways the noodles, pawns masala and fish curry was good and fish streak was not value for money and the vegs was fried with old oil so the taste was somewhat odd, overall 2 out of 5 .

A small dine in restaurant to have normal non veg food. Menu is limited and pocket friendly. Taste is ok and there are swings and slides for children to play. Parking available on the road. Service is fast.
