Booked 3 rooms. None acceptable for price paid. Positive : walkable to beach Negatives: 1. Unclean rooms - found plenty of cockroaches in bathroom & rooms are somewhat smelly. 2. Not punctual - checkin time was 12pm. But room was not ready even at 4.30pm. Inspite of informing them in prior 3. Building condition not good 4. Not approachable by car. You need to pay park & walk 500m to reach the hotel in small lanes. 5. No amenities like drinking water, hangers etc
If you're travelling in budget to kovalam better place to book very clean everything too good to the hotel ppl plz keep some clean mug in bathroom that's all everything was fine for 900Rsper day
I live nearby and don't have a/c, and I cannot tell you what a godsend this place has been when I can't stand it anymore (ie End of March). The owner Joy is so fantastic -truly kind and cool. The rooms are immaculate and perfectly quiet (really!), beds comfy and pillows too. He has saved me from going completely insane from the heat, and his prices are reasonable enough that I can do this almost weekly. Beautiful courtyard as well. Thank you, Joy!
This is a great place to stay, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Spotlessly clean, in a very quiet and peaceful location. We would like to mention that every detail and every corner of the interiors and exteriors are built with love and perfect taste. The owners are very nice people with a gentle character of hospitality
Nice stay! We stayed for one night only and were impressed with the room and staff. We hadn't booked and they made the room up for us straight away before checkin which we really appreciated. They gave us a card with their details on if we needed anything. 4/5 stars because sadly at around 12.30am we realised we hadn't been given any sheets and subsequently had to sleep under towels, I'm sure it could've been rectified I don't think anyone was up/around at this time. We also needed toilet roll in the room. Clean, nice and very pretty. I would definitely recommend!
The rooms are big. . Located exactly at Kovalam Beach but not the sea facing property.. Food options are available nearby.. overall I would say best budget stay at kovalam beach.. lighthouse is also at walking distance
boat ok neatness ok staff are good and nice entire stay for one day but boat driving is hardly 4 hours.rest of the time boat will remain in the same place where we started the journey. break fast good and dinner to improve in taste.
