Marina Beach in Chennai, India, is a beloved and iconic destination known for its scenic beauty and vibrant atmosphere. Here's a review: Marina Beach, stretching along the Bay of Bengal for approximately 13 kilometers, is one of the longest urban beaches in the world. Its golden sands, azure waters, and the backdrop of bustling Chennai create a unique charm that draws both locals and tourists. The beach is a hub of activity throughout the day. In the early morning, it's a popular spot for joggers and yoga enthusiasts. As the day progresses, it comes alive with families, couples, and friends enjoying leisurely walks, picnics, and games. One of the highlights of Marina Beach is the mesmerizing sunset. Watching the sun dip below the horizon, casting vibrant hues across the sky, is a magical experience that captures the hearts of all who visit. Along the promenade, you'll find various food stalls selling delicious South Indian snacks, making it a great place to savor local flavors. The beach also hosts various events and cultural festivals, adding to its vibrancy. While Marina Beach is a beautiful and lively destination, it's essential to exercise caution, especially regarding swimming, as the currents can be strong. Visitors should also be mindful of their belongings and stay hydrated, especially during hot days. In summary, Marina Beach in Chennai offers a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural experiences, and a lively atmosphere. It's a must-visit destination for travelers looking to soak in the essence of Chennai's coastal life.

The longest beach in India, you will enjoy this coastline in Chennai City. You almost get everything to eat and play on the beach. There is bus connectivity and water sports including horse ride . Be careful while eating near the beach as almost all the food joints prepare food in an unhealthy way. The horse ride is definitely fun but a bit risky.
The second longest beach in the world and the largest beach in Asia and when you see the beach you can actually understand why it is the longest. You have to walk about 800 meters on the beach sands to get to the sea water. Beautiful with a lot of food and other stalls on the beach.
Safety seemed to be the priority. Lifeguards and policemen keep monitoring the busy hours. Cleanliness maintained. Cheap beach clothes available. Nice food stalls too. Overall an enjoyable experience without much crowd.
It is one of the well known beach of south-eastern India's Coromandel Coast of Chennai, Tamil Tadu. Having maximum width 450m and spans over 13km makes it India's largest beach which belongs to The Bay Of Bengal. Specially one can enjoy spicy fast food shops of varieties sea-fishes. Also different varieties of coral items also available. Including that all types of stationary items, mens-womens wear shops, footwear shops, cold & hot drinks shops are also available on that market. I visited there on 08/09/2023 in evening and spent couple of hours.
This is the longest place in india, it's very beautiful, clean and well maintained. There are many shops for food and handcrafted items available here. Plan your visit here in the evening or early morning because in the mid day this place becomes very hot and sunny.
Its amazing to visit this place and see so many Parrots in natural way. Also so many other birds like Sparrow which seems to be rare here in Chennai, can be seen. Moreover, Sudarson is such is a humble person and with down to earth attitude. Greatly
Went early morning on a weekday and it was a very pleasant experience. Clean beach and not too many people. We walked along the water and saw some people meditating or doing yoga.
Over time Marina and Elliots have become so crowded, filthy and commercial and Mahabalipuram being no different, we really lost interest in Chennai beaches. This beach has come as a savior. Clean and neat. Less crowd and decent crowd. Fewer shops in

My favourite beach spot in ECR. Safe to go in daytime. No shopkeepers or vendors available here. So this is just for the day of the visit. But mostly it is flooded by Photographers and their models. Cars and bikes shall be parked at their own risk.
One of main attractions while thinking of Chennai. When ever I feel uncomfortable, I use to go this beach... That may lead to me for the peace of mind and relaxed mind. You can better visit in the evening with your family and friends or loved one. En
