It's a biggest mariyamman temple in srivilliputtur.In the month of pankuni, the pookuzhi festival celebrated here..it's a very famous festival,celebrated 13 days..nearly 30000 people participating this pookuzhi..the 7th day of this festival is very famous.on that day lord mariyamman came on flower car..and the 11th day,came by horse vehicle and the 12th day is the pookuzhi..at last the 13th day is the big car festival which is the last day of the festival..this festival is celebrated by all community people..never miss to visit..
