Margaret's hope tea Factory (Goodricke) - Manufacturer in Darjeeling, Ring Tong Tea Garden - Darjeeling, India

It is not so much different than other tea gardens of Darjeeling. Reaching the place was really tough due to extreme inclined road. While going and coming inside the vehicle I almost vomited due to fear. We had booked a can from the Sonada Market to here as we had to attend one of our friend's wedding. Anyway after reaching the Tea Garden- view was really scenic and fresh! A perfect place for those who are looking for the peaceful environment. Even though road condition is very good, but initially in the beginning we will shrink in fear due to extreme curve of the road. Also our driver was kind enough to halt at the natural lake which was poorly maintained and constructed. We also got some information that it is the natural habitant of Salamander Lizard. I wonder why the local authorities are not developing this lake because it has such a nice natural spacious areas. Really we had a great time in enjoying fresh air with scenic beautiful tea bushes with the mighty mountains at the backdrop.

Margaret's Hope T. E., I find, a nice place. It could have been more nice if the road from Gorabari to Nehru Balasun via Margaret's Hope repaired at the earliest. Otherwise the rainy seasons is approaching. The people will have to face more trouble.

I love this place because I was born here only n m proud that I belong to such a beautiful and peaceful place where we get ample time to spend time with nature...

I do deeply love my birthplace, my ancestors spent times here to nurtured the tea saplings, their fresh smell of sweat smelled here, it stimulate me every time to confront my hardships with persistent bravery
