This was another highlight of our recent Darjeeling trip. Much hyped up but for good reason which we realised only after visiting. The restaurant juts out to the valley and clouds literally float in. Standing in the balcony you get a 360deg view of the valley below. The decor, atmosphere and food is Victorian. It might seem a bit expensive for the regular traveller but the experience is too good to give it a miss. Do visit.

The cafe is new age, but with a rustic old world charm. The views from the cafe are beautiful & perfect for sipping a cup of tea with a piece of their famous carrot cake. The selection of items in the menu is limited, but each item in the menu is awesome. Also before ordering your tea you should confer with their knowledgeable waiters to know the various stages of tea namely autumn flush, second flush, first flush & white tea. If you are traveling to Darjeeling through Kurseong road, then don't forget to stop at this beautiful cafe & have a sip.

What a place oh my god. So beautiful a location, so beautiful interior, so beautifully show cased history of tea. This place is for everyone. Although a great place for a tea lover. There are so many varieties of tea that one have to visit several times to taste them all. Tea is available on kettle basis...small serves two people and large serves 4 people. Enjoy your tea with such natural beauty of the valley and mountains in front that one will not be compelled to get off unless sun sets. Anyone who plan to visits Darjeeling must visit here.

A must visit for any tea connoisseur. Location, ambience, clientele, service, and beyond all - the wide variety of tea options! We were a party of 9 - which allowed us more room to play around. We went for 6 different teas in 2-cup orders to make it like a mini tasting menu within our group. The menu is mind bogglingly huge given it's just about tea, and the staff is eager to help with options. They were out on several that we wanted to try, which somewhat helped in narrowing down our order. We started with a white tea as it is the lightest. Followed by a first flush, then a second flush / autumnal, then a muscatel. We rounded off with flavored teas - the rose and finally the chamomile. Once you get to the stronger flavors it is difficult to enjoy the lighter ones, so we went up the strength / flavor gradient. Every one of our orders were super impressive. The folks here have, predictably, mastered the art of perfectly balancing tea portions - and know exactly how much of the leaves to use for which variety. They can also do a smell test of the pot and tell you which tea is in it, which we leveraged multiple times as we kept forgetting which one was which. The ambience is spectacular - one of the best views I've seen, giving the Kodak viewpoints a run for their fame. If the weather permits sit on the open-air deck and savor in the beauty of the Himalayan landscape when you slowly sink into a tea sipping nirvana. My only complaint is that they do not take cards (including contactless) - it's GPay or cash only, at least when we went. They had a limited selection of baked goods that kept the kids in our group happy.

One of the best spots in Kurseong. If you need a place to chill with good food and an amazing view, this is it. They offer variety of tea which will even enhance your experience and you will want to come back here more often.

A scenic tea lounge on the way to Darjeeling offering magnificent view of tea garden and great snack & tea experience. But the prices are bit high. One can enjoy food with a great view from the balcony. Staffs are very polite and co-operative. Visit YouTube channel "Travel Freak Oindrila" for detailed information about this property.

This is a renowned Goodricke owned newage cafe with a scenic ambience in the way towards Kurseong to Sonada. The place is famous for its soothing teas along with some quick bites. In our visit, we have tried chicken smoked salad, chicken steak, French fries, Apple walnut cake, caramel mocha pudding along with Maharani hills tea garden's second flush tea. We wish to taste first flush, however they only offe castleton first flush which we have already tested. Thus, we have opted for Maharani hills tea. All foods are really good in taste and view of the valley from this place is undoubtedly provide peace of mind. This place also has a small corner for selling different types of teas. On our way back home we have bought first flush of Thura garden, Mirik. The flavour of thura garden tea is heavenly. If you are a tea lover then you will definitely like this place.
