Mr Utpal Chakraborty - the manager of marble palace guest house at SR Das road is one of the most polite, caring and very kind human being. he not only helped us to checkin on time and he is very good with managing the guest house boys also to provide seamless room service. One word for the hospitality shown by Marble palace staff is - Just Awesome
The location is somewhat away from the downtown ie. around 8KMs Pros: 1. Good environment and colony where it is situated. 2. Humble staffs and good behaviour with customers. 3. Small parking space but enough for 2 wheeler vehicles. Cons: 1. In breakfast only Bread omelette along with tea and a banana is served which is not upto the mark. 2. First we were offered a small room with very congested washroom where noise comes very frequently and it disturbed so we asked for another room which was quite good in all terms. 2. There is no availability of Sanitizer, Handwash anything just a small piece of soap is provided.

Awesome location in the lake market area. A lot food joints around. Well connected to most of the city. Rooms are two stars coz of the toilet. The room I was staying in the ground floor had a 'U' shaped toilet which was congested.
The location is splendid. The property is very good too. Even rooms are big and spacious - however I would suggest the owner to fix exhaust fans in the bathroom as otherwise during winters the bathrooms stay wet all day. Also our bathroom had water leaks from the pipes which hopefully was a temporary problem. Since its a guest house, we had no expectations on food - and were happy with whatever served for dinner and breakfast. We had lunch outside. Overall, it was a very good exp and we were completely taken by the beautiful garden and the spacious terrace right outside our room where our kids played all day almost.
Decent place. Very good location close to metro and rabindra sarobar. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Only issue I had is that for breakfast they only serve bread butter and milk. Paying 2000 per night for the room , the breakfast was not justified at all. Rest everything is decent.

Cozy guest house in South Kolkata. Nice ac rooms with attached toilet. Overall ambience is very nice. Manager & staff are very well behaved. Always at your service. They provide Lunch/Dinner also against advance order. Metro station is just 5 mins walking distance. Strategically located to travel any part of the city. I definitely recommend this guest house for your next stay.
