Excellent place. Location is right on the highway. They have put boulders on the beach for people to have nice view. Do not miss the view from the two bridges - Souparnika river bridge (right on the highway) and Maravanthe Padukone Bridge (bridge on the side road). Visit with less expectations - you will enjoy the place.
Unique type in INDIA,Nothing can beat this TRASI MARAVANTHE BEACH... West Coast and River souparnika with NH in between... Multiple rock beds facing sea,best for photography but not a good option for swimming very deep just away from sea shore... Please keep the surroundings clean Take ur trash along with you,don't discard here... Happy Times enjoy

Just two words Absolute delight. If you are driving during sunset the view even from the road is simply spectacular.The highway has Souparnika river on one side and the Arabian sea on the other side.Nature lovers will love to spend countless hours here .This is just one of its kind in India and once you visit it youll keep coming back for more such is the beauty and charisma of this place.
The cleanest, most picturesque and beautiful beach on Karnataka - Kerala Highway. U need to take sometime off from your journey and wait here just to enjoy the fresh air here. From last 2 years, now you will get here few eatery outlets like tea n coffee spots, coconut water. Must wait spot when you are traveling via this route.
Good for cruising but has damaged the scenery of the area. Now it is no longer possible to get sea, road and river in one view, because of wide highway with median, elevation and side barriers. The charm of Maravanthe is lost. However highway is good for cruising- a bit of elevation is given probably expecting sea water to rise.
