Marathi Katta - Maharashtrian Restaurant in Hyderabad - Hyderabad, India

Was in Hyderabad for some time and this was my go to place to have some maharashtrian food whenever I used to miss the aaiicyaa haatcaa vrnn bhaat or mumbai cha vada pav or pav bhaji or kothimbir vadi! Loved the place as it reminded me of my Home in a city far away from home.

First time visited this restaurant. Wanted to taste the food here. It took sometime for us to search in the lane, until we finally found it. So, ordered food & had gone to wash basin, put a splash of water on face just to freshen up a little. Then comes a waiter shouting, you are not supposed to wash your face here. First of all the instruction on the board clearly states not to spit & I had no such intention of doing that. Secondly, one can also speak politely & convey the message, instead of shouting.

Good Vegetarian place for authentic Maharashtrian cuisines. Peaceful and spacious sitting arrangements. This is my go-to place when in Koti.

Very good restaurant, I have order Maharashtrian thali, bakari with vanga ki bhaji and wada pav Superb taste service was also good and proper hygiene maintained. Ambience were also good. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for Maharashtrian food.

First I was wondering what place did my friend find in this small lane. I think it's actually house. But as I entered was pleasantly surprised to see the place. First thing which caught my attention was neat and clean ambience. Courteous staff who were good to serve us the best. We ordered Pav Bhaji, Dahi Poori, Vada Pav, Wheat Kheer and Kokum With Soad. All are good. But for sure one thing I will close my eyes and can say with a happy heart, whenever I think of Vada Pav I will always remember this place. It was too good and delicious is an understatement. It was that good and yum. If interested please do try. This is a pure vegetarian place in Marathi style and for a change it was great to experience it and I am glad I found a new place.

Food quantity is very less and their charging very high 150rs not even 200 grams of sabudana ........not happy

Perfect place for traditional marathi food.i really like the jawar roti with pitla.Thali was super yummy.The masala vangri is a must try Also the masala rice..I tried missal pav for the first time and loved it.
