Overall experience is okish.. place has ambience, hygiene bt service and staff part can be improved. Staff knowledge is avg on menu. we tried chicken koliwada, which turned out to b chicken pakora with lots of ajwain in coating . Total disappointment. Thn bombil fry was ok. Muttun kheema turned out to b greavy with small chuncks ,thn we ordered chicken masala which is again thin greavy with few boiled chicken pcs. Dnt knw whether we understood menu wrong or they mentioned names wrong. We ordered two veg thalis also which was having decent taste... Will recommend for veg food as for non veg more better options are available in Virar.

Not at all satisfied with the Fish quality as visited hoping they would serve authentic maharashtrian sea food As i ordered Bombil thali It was not at all fresh when given the genuine feedback to the owner at the counter the person not at all bothered to accept feedback His attitude was arrogant and harsh In repy he said "yeh sawaal hee nai hota" That means customer is a Fool to leave the food and personally sharing feedback at counter side after spending worthless rs 315 for it Although rest food items was okay If wanted to visit again I won't due to his rude behaviour and nature. Very much dissatisfied Hope this review helps others who plan to visit specially for sea food.

Was craving for authentic Maharashtrian food while looking for restaurants, I came across this. So today been there for lunch. Ordered Saoji chicken thali with Bhakri. Pros - Pandhra and Tabhra Rassa was great in taste. Infact Egg Curry (with half egg) was also good in taste. And it kind of worked really well with Bhakri. Cons - Saoji Chicken was nowhere close to authentic Nagpur Saoji. It had mere 4 small pieces of chicken. The thali was Priced in Menu at Rs 300/-. Bhakri for 20 in menu When bill was given the thali costed -320/- n additional bhakri -25/-. When asked I was shown a small note mentioned in Menu at bottom. Additional cost for extra Bhakri was not even justified by the person on counter. Hope they mention things clearly in menu. Customer goes to eat not scan their menus for terms n conditions. Overall below avg experience.
Saoji Mutton - 4/5 Surmai Fish thali - 5/5 Bombil fry was good. Highlight was the solkadhi and chapatis which made the experience really good. It is a small restaurant with few tables but delivers on taste use New review on 1st Jan 2023 - food quality has degraded. Chicken pieces are mostly bones and chewy. Bombil fry had no salt in it and fish was not fresh. Only chapati quality is Good.
Great place to have veg thalis, especially mutton and chicken of a maharashtrian cuisine. Food is good. Service is good with friendly nature of the owner.
