You come here for experience the Magic of Single screen theatre. That we have been losing in the world of PVR/Inox/CINEPOLIS or any other Multiplex Theatre generation. In this SS 80/100 Rs. is not big budgets for moviegoers that you're ready to buy 300+Rs. for normal tickets in the Multiplex. here in MM has Outstanding sitting, Biggest 70MM screen theatre I have experience. Clean lavotory and specious parking . And Thank You for DDLJ !!

let's see. the cinema itself is quite beautiful and traditional, but..... the toilets are a little dirty, the benches where we watched the movie need urgent renovation, I left the movie with a huge backache. and the snacks, there could be more variety, like sweet popcorn for example.

It's a very old cinema hall and is quite adorable. Seats are not so comfortable and could be improved. Sound quality is also not very impressive but still okay because it's very old. You'll get a feel of old age theaters if you visit it. Overall it's a good experience.

Maratha Mandir Cinema in South Mumbai left me thoroughly disappointed after a single visit. The condition of the theater was disheartening, with seats covered in dirt and a noticeable absence of air conditioning. The lack of a substantial audience presence also added to the overall bleak atmosphere. A word of caution: it's advisable not to venture into this theater alone as it emits an eerie vibe that might not sit well with everyone. Furthermore, the unkempt state of the washroom further dampened the experience. In light of my unfortunate encounter, I cannot recommend Maratha Mandir theater as a viable option for an enjoyable movie outing.

Travelled all the way from Kerala to Mumbai just to watch this film. Was one the biggest goals of my life. Also, one of the largest film screen I've ever seen. Decent theatre with co-operative staff.

Had been there for the first time in my life for a movie..Tiger 3..the show started with no brightness at all..the movie looked so dark..no proper sound..not able to understand any dialogue of any actor...we left the theatre in 10 minutes...money wasted...this theatre is good for people who only want to sleep as for 30rs you can enter to watch DDLJ and sleep in full AC and fan. The theatre is beautiful, ambience and all but they haven't evolved relating to movie quality..they have Dolby audio banner outside but it was an insult to Dolby to what we as a family experienced

Loved this place. The vintage vibes reminds so much about childhood. A complete nostalgia. Don't forget to watch DDLJ

One of the iconic theatres of Mumbai. Gives you a feel of Mumbai cinema of the 80's. Balcony gives you a panoramic view of theatre. Old classic wooden chairs with a huge capacity of more than 250 person capacity in Balcony and approx. 300+ . Happy to enjoy the theatric dolby experience at Maratha Mandir.
