We stayed at the place for three nights, and we really liked it there. The people who run it at the moment, Jacob and Maria, are some of the sweetest people that I have met on this trip. Maria cooked a great meal for us one night, with like four different veg dishes and curries. The place and garden is beautiful and quiet. I would come back here if I would be in Allepey again.
Very TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!! yesterday (9/09/2019).It was difficult to find the location due to no hoarding board. When finally we reached the place.. They shifted us to some other home stay due to unmentioned reasons..amd when we reached another unmentioned home stay, there were no electricity and a small room with minimum spaces with zero privacy as the house was small the family lived in side the room and we had to share a bedroom portion. We were waited to stay their for an hour waiting for electricity to powerup however finally they denied as the stay and as forced us tostay at their home which we had to deny. The price may seems low but you woll be in regret.. Trust me.. Horrible experience!!! They even didnt provide water to drink.
The best experience of my travelling in Karela! 200 metres away from a beatufil beach, amazingly its not crowded!!! Hosts at this homestay are amazing and welcoming. Such warmth and they help make your stay really good. MJ and his family looked after us very well. Home cooked food was AMAZING ! They give you all the info about things happning in the town or activities, Michael organised a day trip to the back waters followed by traditional food and that day was really well organised and well spent. I will defently recomend this place and will go back.. FOOD - 5 STAR ROOM - 5 STAR HOSTS - 5 STAR PLACE - 5 STAR
What a place just amazing in one word. It is run by an elderly couple Mr. Stephens and his wife and they are amazing people. They were always there to help us and they had provided their fully functional kitchen too. It was great time staying at their property. 100% recommended property.
Good for backpackers, owner mr Michele his friends and his wife all were very greatifying.... they provide two wheeler also on rent..... room was good...peaceful.... The best part was its 150m from beach the beach is almost private type no crowd one can enjoy the sea breeze.... one restaurant is there on the beach it provide good food and is open late night ..... its a gud experience being there..... and the owners dog bella is very lovable and playful pet.....
Very calm and beautiful place. Good hospitality. Nice Kerala food. The main attraction is beach is very near. About 2 minutes walk to beach. Only difficulty is the way to get there.
MJ (owner) & family are very courteous & kind, MJ suggested us the best plan to explore Alleppey, the hilight of the place is that beach is just 2 min walk.
