Marari Bethsaida Homestay - Home Stay in Alappuzha, Kadakkarappally - Alappuzha, India

We planned the trip immediately and struggled a lot to get an immediate stay. These people were so kind and allowed us to stay there. They treated us like family even it was for a very short period of time. And they never try to loot money from their clients unlike some unethical stays. They follow the financial ethics in business.

I usually dont write reviews, but after staying 2 days at this place I couldnt stop myself from sharing my experience. I was quite apprehensive about going for cheaper options as I had to work during my trip and needed stable wifi and power backup. So, the first 5 days of my one-week trip I stayed in 2 other places which were comparitively expensive, although the service in both the places did not match my expectations. Food was below average and way too expensive and the rooms were not that clean. I finally decided to not spend too much unnecessarily and moved to Bethsaida and to my surprise I had the best experience in there. The room was spotlessly clean. The location is very beautiful and close to the nature. The hosts, Leena aunty and Jude uncle, were so friendly and caring. They treated me like their family member. They just did not serve delicious and authentic dishes, but also their knowledge about the place and their life experience, which was real good food for my thoughts. You can also expect some great surprises in their garden. So, if you are a person who is looking for authentic feeling of the culture, food, and nature, you will not be disappointed. They have everything that a 5-star facility could not offer with rooms that are spacious, comfortable and spick and span as well as authentic culinary experience. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again. Thank you Leena aunty and Jude uncle for being so nice hosts.

This homestay is one of the best I've ever come across. The ambience, the food, location and ofcourse I have no words about the love of Jude uncle and Leena aunty. I felt that I was at home with my family. I would strongly suggest everyone to try this place once. And I am sure that you will be eager to plan your next visit to this place at the very earliest. I would certainly rate a 10 out of 10.

This is a wonderful Homestay. Leena, the host is a very lovely and funny lady. We had a lot of fun together. The rooms are great, nice bathroom and everything is very clean. There is many space to relax and nice relaxing chairs on the porch to enjoy the garden. The beach is only 10 minute walk and the road to the beach lead you through a nice area. You can hire a bicycle at the homestay and go by bicycle to the beach.

Very comfortable stay offered near marari.. they offers neat room and washroom with good service. Food they provided felt homely.

I booked a room for my mother and sister and they have had a wonderful stay at Bethsaida. Leena had been a great host and my family was taken good care of by her. The reception and stay had been so warm that this will be out first choice if we need to stay for a couple of days near Cherthala.
