Maqdoom Mohiuddin Statue - Historical landmark in Hyderabad - Hyderabad, India

Janab Makdoom Mohiuddin was the Revolutionary Urdu Poet holds various positions in his life Member of Legislative Assembly, Member of Legislative Council and Opposition leader in Andhra Pradesh Assembly, Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Housing Board Society , Founder of Communist Party of India in Telangana, Founder and President of Trade Union, etc.

Nice place to sit or jog in the morning. The view of tank bund is eye catchy. The sunrise is impeccable.

Nice view of the lake, the large India flag, the statue and the city. Worth to stop for a few minutes if on the road.

Its a good place to hang out but in the night its not recommend as these so called lovers start making out near to these place which is embarrassing and not good sight for young kids, if u are planning to take any. For family and all evening 5_7 is best and after 7 it's not recommended for family with kids.

A nice place to rest on a pricky sunny days, It's nice place and great view in the evenings,but stinky smell of Hussain sagar water. It's too beautiful place to spend time with family ,friends, lovers

This statue is in memory of Moqdoom Mohiuddin, who was an Urdu poet and Marxist political activist of India. He was a distinguished revolutionary Urdu poet. He founded the Progressive Writers Union in Hyderabad and was active with the Comrades Association and the Communist Party of India, and at the forefront of the 1946-1947 Telangana Rebellion against the Nizam of the erstwhile Hyderabad state
