Mapusa Post Office - Post office in Mapusa - North Goa, India

No system in place. Out of 6+1 counter intially just 3 had staff and now 4 (each are looking after seperate requests). 1 token has been looked at for minimum 45 to 80 mins. The agents with their bundle of request have been looked after by the same staff. Senior Citizens have been waiting for hours together in the queues. Poor system

There is a wait as old officials are transferred & new take time but its the Best budgetable mode for parcels & letters as you can send to every corner in India & many more places abroad. Today is monday there's a crowd vut only one counter working in a snail speed very disappointing.

The post office is always crowded and people have to stand in line for hours, the staff person takes almost 20 minutes for each person and the line goes on increasing. Secondly the side writing desk is not at all clean and the glue is all over the desk .

Worst staff .. very rude .. they don't have manners doesn't know how to behave with the elderly n uneducated people... The catholic old lady on the 2nd last counter is the worst... Very rude..she must get good tight slap.. for behaving that rude .she makes people comes 10 times for one single transactions ..she feels that she owns the office ..... Request to govt please have one helping counter for non qualified elderly people .. and please take some action on that lady

The post office is centrally located and delight if pensioners The staff cares for aged customers Have hard working agent backup

Working hours till 17;00 is NOT FOR CLIENTS it's for postmen, back ofice. So I personally lost 1 hour of riding, petrol and didn't get service. Personnel is not helpful not customer oriented.

Third class pathetic service. Half the staff are sitting idle and chatting at the counters. Took 1 hour to post one letter.

Worst post office in India. I have traveled extensively across India and often post things from different places. The queues I expect. The dogmatic, officious rule following I expect. Here the staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. They lie. I was told a parcel I had sent was held because it was packed wrong when it had already arrived in the UK. Avoid if at all possible. There is a post office in Arambol which may be better.
