Mapple Leaf Resort - Hotel in Puducherry - Villupuram, India

I was in search of swimming pool resort with affordable prices and this was the one which had the clean pool atleast better than the other. The rooms should be renovated with good furnishing and must be cleaned too. The location is good as the serenity beach is just 2 mins walking distance from this place. But the resort is not maintained properly.

HORRIBLE!!! Not recommend for families or even friends group or for anyone One of the worst resorts, stinks of fungs all over the room, washrooms are horribly maintained. We booked online with an advance payment of Rs. 2000 seeing the pictures sent to us on whatsapp but in reality its the opposite. We vacated the room immediately.. And the resorts guys we're not ready to pay back the advance amount .

What an amazing resort. Last year Stayed for 2 days where we can get good atmosphere. Hygienic food and fun. You can try.

Its was a nice place to stay near by beach in walkable distance with a Swimming pool. Had a good time in this place. And rooms are good enough to stay with balcony. Il be recommending for 7 occupancy and small rooms for family members also available.

KINDLY DONT TAKE ROOM HERE WITHOUT VISITING IN PERSON ..There are no negative stars available here else I would have given negative 500 stars. Pathetic experience. When we checked in at 9 pm, Bathroom full of urine smell, uncleaned room,no dustbin,door mat too dirty. And he claims to have cleaned it already. He asked us to wait for house keeping till morning. How could one sleep whole night in urine smell?? Hardly we stayed 30 MINS, and he never returned our 2000 advance.

Okay place only. We booked two rooms. Rooms are okay but bathroom locks flush etc are not working properly. Even we inform them about it, they wont fix it. Swimming pool is available(with chlorine added water). Pipeline water is the worse,smelly water cant even use for brushing. Make sure these things are okay when you book this place. I suggest go directly and have a look and decide by yourself.

Actually I reserved two rooms in a hotel near Pondicherry bus stand expecting to visit all the tourist attractions easily. But to my wonder the room was "successfully cancelled" automatically when I was on the way to Pondicherry. After some arguments, reserved two rooms in a hotel far away from Pondicherry bus stand. That is how I was forced to stay in this hotel and I had to pay more than Rs.2500 for the taxi I hired for the travel from the city to hotel and back. Also since all the attractions are in the city, I had to come to the city and go back to hotel. for which I paid another 1500 Rs extra. The facilities provided in the hotel room was not satisfactory for the amount I paid. There was no restaurant in the hotel. Eventhough the hotel manager assured that food will be supplied from the nearby hotel, it did not happen. Even the complimentary breakfast was not given. There was no mirror in the washroom. The water was completely salty and not at all good for bathing or for other uses. The small swimming pool also could not be used by my family members since there was no separate timings or space for girls and boys. Overall I found that this hotel "Mapple Leaf Beach Resort" is not a good staying place for family. It is good only for young men interested in some other activities. There is nothing good which is worth to be mentioned and my family trip was completely ruined.

The place is a good budget option to stay and is near the Serenity beach so you can walk in the morning to see the sunrise as well. It has a swimming pool with a maximum depth of 5ft so even children can enjoy. The rooms are good washrooms are small but manageable. This place also has 2 Labrador so if u like dogs you can play with them.
