Maple Stay- bypass - Home Stay in Nahru Nagar, Madurai - Madurai, India

Nice and clean room, safe for family stay. Only challenge I find it commute to the property location from city center. If you are in city for tourism then you may have to spend some extra money for auto or taxi. If you are acquainted with city then you can use bus or shared auto. Car Parking may be a problem as property is located at dead end. ( I not used it though) No restorent nearby if you are planning for dinner or breakfast close by. Property manager did offer kettle for hot water to drink.

Quiet place with AC room, Geyser, bed and cupboards in the room and the ground floor has a dining table and kitchen with fridge that you can use (haven't explored the first floor much but should have similiar facilities). There is a caretaker whom you can ask for any help. Can ask for kettle in the kitchen. Friendly contact person (Mr. Anand) and caretaker, both of whom are open to feedback and I conveyed a few things to be fixed. The approach road does get flooded ankle-deep during rain though, but both cars and autos can enter the road - though it doesn't show on Google maps. Please confirm availability by calling before visiting since rooms are limited.

Merits: Calm Location, Very Flexible check-in / Check-out timings (and allow us to pay as per our convenience (But feels 2000 per night for 3Pax - exorbitant when compared with others and for the location). Property is in dead end very narrow lane. Taxi / Auto - could not locate easily). Areas of improvement: No CAR Parking. Housekeeping not done, Bed Linens / Towels not changed, dustbin not emptied, Bathroom/Toilets not cleaned on all the 3 days of stay. Room is not Airy / Ventilated. AC was also not working properly on 1st day (serviced on our request). No cable TV channels. Only OTT was available (ID shared for one channel only on request). Taps went dry in the early morning on the second day (overhead tank filled subsequently on taking it up with the care taker). Smoking smell on one day when entering the room.

Please don't be deceived by cozy and trendy pictures of stay but check out weather it is really comfortable and value for money. No car park is available here and no break fast. Many business class hotel provides break fast with the same price. Average hospitality we can get here. Very poor service for customers

Excellent place to Stay, very calm residential area with big Car Parking... Room Boy is very polite and Co-operative. Rooms are very clean and neat, more than excepted and cost effective as well. Highly recommended for Family stay. Appreciate Maple Stay management and Mr. Anand, who is very friendly and Co-operative.

Good and neat. Worthy to stay. Had complaint in water heater and parking difficulty was there. But the owner of the place is good and assist continuously.

The room looks good but poor maintenance. The bathrooms are very poor and mosquitoes don't allow us to sleep and rest in the restroom.

Very good and well maintained rooms in madurai city.the supervisor is a kind fellow.but he is not aware about online booking of taxi(ola ,uber).he should know about this and he may have touch with local taxi operators.
