A lesser known entrance to Pench National Park on the Maharashtra side. The guides and drivers are good they take effort for a good game. There are wild cats in the surrounding and you could get to see one if you are close enough. Also it's a paradise for bird watchers if you can shoot them from your jeep/ car.
The only safari gate in Pench forest where one is allowed to do safari in their own private vehicles. One of the most beautiful forests of India, with wide spread grasslands & dense forests. There's a forest ranger posting house inside the core region of the forest where the guides take you to get refreshed & the ranger makes delicious tea, one can enjoy the tea inside the forest with the beautiful view of the landscape & enjoy the nature along. There are old closed manganese mines in the forest, The network of the safari guides is strong as a result if someone spots a tiger, immediately everyone is informed so that all the tourists could a better chance to see the king of the tiger in its natural habitat. The massive Pench river flows deep through the forest, during summers all the animals could b spotted very easily at this lake either relaxing or quenching their thirst. This region of the forest is home to migratory birds from Europe during winter season. For bird watchers this is one of the best zones. The famous (T1) Mistry Male tiger is most often spotted in this region of the forest.
Lovely forest. About 5 tigers are reported in this forest. Bison also are found. This jungle has high population of spotted dears. Safari of 4 hours well managed.
First experience on 21st December 2020 was awesome. However, despite booking online for hired Gypsy, they allotted available Gypsy to other tourists who booked on spot. It took 45 minutes for the Gypsy to reach the gate for us from another place.
It's back side of Pench dam reservoir it's spread within Maharashtra and Madhyapradesh there many wild animal in it Dear blackbuck Peckock flycatcher,dogs tigers bear and many more .
Good for wildlife experience and bird watching and best dam scene best nature experience. Good for children.
