Ancient temple where Veluthambi Dalava, divan of Travencore kingdom, is believed hidden here before his death. Atmosphere is awesome as big trees are around the temple. River Kalladayar is in walkable distance.

Mannadi Devi Temple is a famous open air temple in south Kerala on Enath - Kadambanadu road (2 kms from Enath bridge), Pathanamthitta district. This temple has historical relevance too, Veluthambi Dalava, used this place to hide and conspire against the British along with his ministers. He committed suicide here when cornered by British force after being let down by few of his own men. Men can go unside with their shirt on however short dresses aren't allowed. The temple remain open from 8 am to 11 am. Friday is the special day with special poojas offered to the deity. No cooked food is accepted or served here as prasadam, only Plaintain and beaten rice is accepted or distributed as prasadam.
