The food was authentic and great service was very friendly and very polite and the taste was great but the masala and too spicy in food makes Stomach upset sometimes.! Otherwise, u can try one or two times if you need authentic and spicy food.!

This is one of the best places in Kodaikanal to try out some authentic cuisine. We ordered their biryani meals and it was absolutely amazing. We also ordered pepper chicken. They serve the food on the traditional leaf and their biryani is one of its kind, similar to Dindigul biryani. It was made of small grain rice, unlike the much-used long grain basmati rice. It tasted really good and their mutton was unbelievably soft and well-cooked. Do not forget to try out the pepper chicken. They have an amazing preparation of that, and I would definitely crave for a pepper chicken like that! Overall, this restaurant has to be on your list if you want to try some local cuisine. P.S. Vegetarian friends, you can skip this place, they literally do not have any decent options for vegetarian food. Also, if you are someone who finds it tough to watch people eating non-vegetarian food, then again, this place is definitely not for you.

A must visit in Kodai if you are a non-vegetarian lover. Situated in main town of Kodai. Famous for its village style cutlery in wood and clay utensils. Check the uploaded phots yourself to learn about the same. Don't miss the have the Rasam, its awesome, bet you even the person who does not like it will like the same once he/she tastes it. Parking is not there, but you can find parking in the nearby along the main road itself, it has open area dining hall as well with roadside view.

This is the ideal lunch spot for everyone visiting kodai, away from the lake bustle by about 300m, this hotel run completely by women is serves finest dindigul cuisine. Mutton biriyani was out of the world, so was the turkey curry.. all varieties of mutton dishes are available. Seating available balcony facing the road as well as indoors. Serving ladies were very nice to us. Much recommended.
