The view point give a good view of Lampokhri lake n Kanchenjunga range(didnot get chance to see Kanchenjunga though due to bad weather). You have to take a short hike of around 100 stairs to reach the view point. There is a small temple at the top. Plus the short hike will give good chancevof bird watching.
