Mankada diaan Waterfall - Tourist attraction in Poipani - Gajapati, India

This place is surrounded by nature. Beautiful and peaceful place.The Road construction is going on. Four wheeler can not go for 2k.m. only auto and bike can go near the waterfall. No way to go near the waterfall due to big stone or Chopper is there.

Nice waterfall area to visit. But it is a very lonely place. So visit with a group. Not so couple friendly place. Please don't bring kids and girls here.

The famous tourist spot Mankadadian Waterfall is situated around 73 km from Paralakhemundi. This is the best waterfall in the eastern Ghat region.

Accessing the falls can be quite challenging due to the poor road condition, and a short hike is required. It is not recommended for novice drivers, old people, and children. However, it is a must-visit destination for young and energetic individuals who enjoy exploring. The falls are a breathtaking sight and make for a good picnic spot. Unfortunately, the lack of cleanliness indicates that only a few people take the effort to maintain the area. It would be appreciated if the government take some initiative to ensure cleanliness without compromising the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Little water was there when I reached mid June due to lack of rain. During most part of the year the rocks are inundated. Dry season brings out the rocks. They are extremely slippery climb with care. The approach road is horrible, may be rain washed. Please ride, drive carefully. The way to the waterfall is marked everywhere with little boards. Road is usually desolate. Carry food and water.

Mankaddian waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfall in Odisha..we have been to that place in the month of june.. Distance -approx 25km from jirang monastery..road condition is not that good No mobile network available there..so download offline map ..or ask villagers..they ll help u.. Can do picnic..but don't litter that place..

Wooh..!! This is a very good waterfall near Berhampur takes almost 2hr to reach here.. -> Afternoon or evening visit will be good ->for good photos u can go side wise closer to main waterfall..by climbing on rocks ( risk is associated) -> for bathing dont go to the big area .. it is way to dangerous even if you know swimming. The downside/ entryside has small water deposit,inwhich one can bath . -> You can plan picnic here with your friends..just make sure to bring all required items and nothing is available nearby..

Magnificent & stunning waterfall... Have to walk around 2km to reach there.
