Sajnekhali Eco Tourism Centre, or more popularly known as Sajnekhali is the heart of Sundarbans Tiger Reserve. It is also the Head Office of the Forest Department. Permission to enter the Sundarban Tiger Reserve is required to be obtained from here. The Sajnekhali Complex houses the Sajnekhali Permission issue Counter, the River Terrapin (Batagur Baska) pond, the hatching centre of the River Terrapin, The Crocodile Pond, the Mangrove Interpretation Centre, also known as the Sajnekhali Museum as well as a Bono Bibi Temple. The Sajnekhali watchtower is also located within this campus of Sajnekhali Eco Tourism Range

A place where you can get to know the flora, fauna and deities of Sundarban. The incredible beauty and magnificence of Sundarban is richly portrayed here in a nutshell. Being a tourist, its a beautiful centre to enrich your knowledge about the place.

There exists a beautiful museum, nestled deep inside the Sundarbans national park. It's located inside Sajnekhali Eco Tourism Complex and you require a tourist boat/launch to take you there. This interpretation centre provides you a comprehensive knowledge about the diverse flora and fauna of the Sundarbans. Do include this place in your itinerary, while touring Sundarban.

A good place in the midst of the forest. You'll realize how the people make a living there. How the animals in people coexist there. How tough the place is for people. A few animals in enclosed spaces are there for people to see. Crocodiles and monitor lizards can be seen.

Although its not very well maintained but its worth a visit as the guide tells you the story of the royal bengal tigers of sunderban and the history of sunderban. There is also a crocodile breeding lake so you can see crocodiles. There is a watch tower to see natures beauty and a tiny museum which has information of the diverse animal life found in the sunderbans.

Must visit place during sundarbon tour.

This museum is located next to the watchtower and which gives an entire description of Sundarbans. It is all about the flora and fauna and history of Sundarbans. I was unable to visit as it was closed due to Covid.

this was a artificially developed museum. if you go there you have some idea about the delta, animals of sundarban and the regional peoples culture. at last one of the best place for photography and group selfies for friends with the nature.
