Mangrove Heritage Home - Resort hotel in Chendamangalam, Puthenvelikara - Ernakulam, India

We 4 girls rented the full house for a reunion for 2 nights. The house was spacious and well maintained. Across the road from the property a gated area gives access to the water body with ample seating and viewing area. The hosts were very helpful and will arrange food if we inform them prior. A caretaker lady lives nearby, who was very sweet. Overall we had a pleasurable and safe stay. A little heads up about the 300 metres of narrow road leading up to the house, although seemed a little scary as we checked in late night, under broad daylight all seemed okay. I would definitely recommend this place for a calm and peaceful retreat with your dear ones.

Lovely heritage home overlooking the great Periyar.. Great heritage home, very well maintained property right by the side of Periyar river. The entire home and the rooms was very clean, comfortable beds, hygienic bathrooms makes the stay very homely and comfortable. Friendly staff and the service was prompt and impeccable. No staffs will interfere in your matters unnecessarily during stay. Very good and safe for family, couples and even for small group of friends. Well enjoyed...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the 'Lil Hut' of Mangrove Heritage Home via Airbnb, and I have to say, it exceeded all my expectations. Despite being nervous when I booked it due to the unattractive pictures and high cost of 2500 per day, I decided to take a chance and was not disappointed. The hut faced the serene Periyar River. Outside, on the banks of river we spent hours counting fish and relaxing on the steps leading down to the calming water flow. The sunset view was breathtaking, and the 'Oonjal' swing tied between two large trees was a unique and enjoyable experience. Although the last few meters drive to the location was rural, the hut's location and ambiance made up for it. For anyone seeking a peaceful and unique retreat, 'Lil Hut' is definitely worth the price. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

I needed a place to crash during my visit to Paravur for business. Got a very cheap rate by luck somehow. The villa is for a family. It has a great view of river sunset and the cabin along the river has an awesome feel to it. New river front cottage is also a big bonus. The villa has enough space for a large family to hang out and four people can sleep comfortably. Nice kitchen also. I hardly used any of the facilities. Will come back with family another time.

Exciting and refreshing stay. Had a great time with family. The place is very accessible from road, enjoyed the private space a lot.

Great place to have a quite time. River front cottage and the riverside cabin are a big bonus. Had a good time sitting in the portico looking at the greenery all around. Traditional Kerala food provided was very good. Luxurious set up and friendly staff.

Had an amazing stay at Mangrove. The Kerala vernacular ambience with modern amenities and the amazing lake-side view made a perfect get-away experience. Make sure you also explore and stay at the tiny tree houses for a whole new perspective in living. Would highly recommend to all those who are looking for a memorable trip to Ernakulam.
