If u think KMC is worst and smaller hospitals are better my Exp was even worse. Close to 3 lac billed for 2 weeks. Forced to take a room while patient was in the ICU. Charged 8k for Alburel twice and when we wanted to buy from outside gave the same medicine for 4k. Absolutely ridiculous. Dr Sandeep Gopal liver Doc charges 2.5k per Visit and just complicated things. Perhaps the worst Doc in Mangalore with only moto of making money. Smita management lady just dosent want to understand things. If u don't have insurance like in our case this hospital will kill u if u have any chance of survival.

Worst delivery experience ever. I would rather give -1 . Staffs posted in Labor room are very rude and I had worst experience with Dr. Poornima Bhat and with her morning shift staffs. Night shift staffs were just mocking and make fun of patients. I could rather say entire cleaning staffs all are very rude. Being a doctor myself never experienced such place In my entire career. Dr Poornima Bhat is money minded. She got to know that we have an insurance to Claim automatically our bill was doubled by end. I had experienced Post Partum Hemorrhage due to Dr. Poornima Bhat and her entire morning staffs negligence. It was a case of retention of placenta I am a doctor myself & been working in gynaecology field and I could understand all the medical terms they were communicating. It was pure doctor and staffs negligence. Dr poornima Bhat wasn't ready to take the blamings. Other doctor who was present inside was Dr. Ganesh fraud person who gave a wrong statement(Wrong Scanning report statement)How can such doctors go against their faith and put their patients life in risk. Management is worst. My experience was worst I'll never recommended any of my patients there in future. I have been saving many of my patients life & their mental health by not recommending them in MNH. If you want to save yours then I hope this review would help you & stop choosing MNH.

MNH is one of the best maternity hospital in Mangalore. Good Doctors... Dr. Deepa Kanagal is very good. Few staffs are very good and have hands-on experience of handling newborn and mother.. Few improvements points; *Rooms condition to be improved. *Room washroom / Toilets condition not up to the mark * All cashless insurance companies are not covered (but in websites its apearing) * Average hygine Overall good experience..
Me and my family were very happy about the services we got. We visited the hospital for delivery of my wife. Dr. Smitha and Dr. Raghuveer were very caring and responded to our queries very well. Nursing staff were well trained and caring. Housekeeping and maintainance was very good. Overall the experience was very delightful and hassle-free. Some improvements can be made in canteen food though its not a deal breaker.
Dr. usha g.k bhat is very good. I liked her patience and the way she speak. She explained everything nicely. But staff of this hospital s very bad and rooms are not worth for money. I recommend doctor for safe delivery. But choose other hospital. Don't go for Mangalore nursing home.
